  1. Met the great man at my first Glastonbury in 1999! Arrived on site on the Thursday and was wandering round near where the bandstand is and my mate spotted him looking at some stall. So we walked upto him and said hello, shook his hand and had a chat about what music we were going to see and what he thought we should see (Lonnie Donegan as he's quite old and it might be your last opportunity!) and then about football and actually made him late for his show, he was actually dragged away by a producer. Top bloke and completely down to earth, legend is used far too frequently for nobodies, Mr.Peel deserved the title.
  2. He's bluffing, its Busted, Steps and S Club 7
  3. I think you've got the right idea, a Tattoo should be personal to you and in some ways should reflect what you've achieved in your life so far and any aspirations you have left. Good luck, i've always wanted a Tattoo but never seem a scheme or design that i liked enough to base one on for myself.
  4. Rumour has it that Rupes is part of the consortium!! Wonder how that will go down amongst our fishy friends.
  5. Hmm, Hermann Hreidarsson is signed one minute and they're going out of business the next? REALLY?

  7. Champagne has gone back in the fridge, not overly hopeful of opening it as AA wouldn't be able to tell the truth if his life depended on it. Do they really think they'll get any sympathy?
  8. He'll still be off and Utd. will get their transfer fee, probably worth the couple of million it will cost in the mean time.
  9. He doesn't come across well on tv but i think he's quite insightful when on the radio, work that one out.
  10. Is this the annual post about the MOBO's with someone having read something somewhere else and deciding it was funny and reposting it here everybody would think he was some kind of comedy genius, or just some sad ****?
  11. The one player who used to make me shudder at the thought of him playing us was Ian Wright, always seemed to rip us apart.
  12. The R6 is fine as long as your sure you have decent self control. Personally i'd recommend buying a Honda CBR600RR, they're great for fast road work, will tour and you can commute on one, plus the added bonus of Honda reliability. The best thing you can do is join a forum for the make and try and buy a bike from another member as they're usually looked after better. Despite what the doomsayers will say you can jump on a 1000cc bike and get on with it but i doubt you'll have the skill level of somebody who has come 'through the ranks'. If you want to buy a bike that will help you to develop your skills then i highly recommend the SV650, they're not as powerful as the 600cc CBR's, GSX-R's etc. so you learn roadcraft (reading road and traffic conditions, your awareness and most importantly learning to ride smoothly) which will make you a better rider. You can always tell when somebody has jumped onto a powerful bike without experience because they can't go round corners fast and smooth. The SV's keep their value and will be a good trade in if you decide you want a more powerful machine, GSX-R 750?? Good luck with it all and enjoy whatever you buy.
  13. Source? They have signed a Japanese player for their baseball team with a total cost of $100M.
  14. My Avatar has the best arse.
  15. I can see him going to Liverpool, there's no love lost with Everton fans and he presumably would feel more settled in his home town.
  16. Mighty Tossers And Inbred C***s?
  17. One of the carrriers will be sold to India according to a mate in the navy, its been a rumour for the last year or so.
  18. Got Vision Incision on CD single, track listing is; 1) Vision Incision - Radio Edit, 2) Vision Incision - 12" mix, 3) Vision Incision - Midfield General shorter mix, 4) Gringo's Return To Punk Paste. Any Use?
  19. Apparently there is medical evidence that teenagers brains are 'wired' slightly differently from adults hence the general confusion when trying to 'discuss' things. What may seen obvious and of a priority to an adult may seem completely differently from a teenagers point of view.
  20. Roy didn't set the world on fire when he joined Fulham, there is too much bull**** coming from the press, they moan when a manager is sacked after a short period in charge and yet will perpetuate a situation like this. For what its worth all the Liverpool fans i know know this season is a write off, they trust Roy and like Roy and want him given the time and funds to rebuild.
  21. It's expensive trying to 'keep face'.
  22. We had my brothers in-laws over from Brazil and sent them on this in the morning so they could see what took they're fancy for a closer look. They loved it. http://www.londonducktours.co.uk/
  23. Oh how my heart bleeds for the poor medical students, get real. You do a long, expensive course and you're rewarded with a decent salary, stop whining. 15 Sep 2010 ... The average salary of a GP has fallen to £105300 a year - Source BBC

    I hate

I hate Maggie Thatcher for being such a **** that she managed to make Labour look electable, Britain's decine can be traced to the day she won power.
  25. You're all deluding yourself if you actually believe we are not in some way decended from aliens, listen to Ron.
