  1. Speaking as a fat person can i ask, were you bullied at school?
  2. They're 2 piece for concealment, like to see them take them off 500 kids!
  3. I've got 500 Saints badged Vuvuzelas to give away, does anyone know when the first match with free entry for kids is?
  4. That'll be a meeting of minds.
  5. The Frog and Frigate - Always a drunken mess!
  6. These cars don't really hold their value because so many were sold and the size of the engine, you can buy a 6/7 year old s-class that cost nearly £60k or more new for less than £10k for the same reason. As log as you buy before any wannabees get their mits on them and don't adhere to the service schedules, black the windows out and stick ridiculous wheels on you're ok.
  7. Just to put you out of your misery BMW don't make a 9-series, they do make a 1,3,4,5,6 and 7 series cars currently.
  8. The 'people that know' on my Mercedes forum quite like this, the only thing that would be a problem for me would be the big engine if car tax increases, aside from that it looks good. http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/1768567.htm
  9. Ford Focus from £687 not sure about air conditioning and Ford Mondeo from £866 through Expedia
  10. Brand new and depreciating fast, what will it be worth in 3 years time? At worst the Mercedes will be worth exactly the same as what you've paid for it. You could get a higher mileage Mercedes for around £8k or take a look at a CLK for around £8k also, Audi A4's are the same money as are decent spec BMW 3 series.
  11. I've seen this car, it's quite well specced and it's low mileage and comes with the very rare hardtop (on a good day worth £2k on eBay). Worth a look and possibly a sound investment although most buyers would prefer the 300 or 320 model. http://www.carandclassic.co.uk/car/C163805/ Another but in a dull colour http://www.carandclassic.co.uk/car/C166851/
  12. Great cars that are starting to appreciate in value, best to source one through one of the Mercedes forums like http://www.MBClub.co.uk as they will be able to spot a great car from a mile off and will also point out any dud's. These car are definitely undervalued by the majority of the trade but the really good ones are starting to fetch good prices.
  13. Sorry, but they were not even the best headline act of the weekend let alone in the history of the festival. ALOT of people trashed them including the media who normally blow smoke up there arses. The only other band who've fallen flat on their faces were Oasis, twice.
  14. If Mr.Fifty Pence Head ever plays for or club again i will be forced into sending the club a bill for the therapy i'll need, still get the shakes every time i get a 20 or 50 pence in my change.
  15. Not the greatest quality and now sold!
  16. Don't think so, but then we've got absolutely no idea.
  17. My mate with mystery music person backstage at MGMT at Glastonbury, does anybody have any idea whom the bloke on the left is?
  18. Yep, Bloody fantastic.
  19. From the Asian Rub Foundation stall? I can tell people the stalls with the best reputations amongst site staff if you name a location on site. I did see two people in Saints kits, one near blue gate 2 in a compound at the top of the hill behind the Acoustic stage on saturday afternoon and somebody on Sunday/Monday afternoon near the other stage heading towards the Pyramid via the Orange Chill n' Charge tent.
  20. So i was right about the Gorillaz then? Apparently up their own arses sprung to most peoples mind! Didn't get to see many bands but my highlight was Sir Stevie of Wonder who had one of the largest crowds i've seen at the Pyramid, cheesy, but firkin' fantastic!!! Caught a tiny bit of Shakira as i was en route elsewhere and have to say that although not the usual 'Glastonbury fodder' seemed to have the crowd eating out of her hands, Dizzee sounded pretty good and Mos Def was pretty cool on Friday night. MGMT were disappointing but overall a good Glastonbury (remember kiddywinks, it's not ALL about the bands!) Great food, friends and memories. Best food venue - EarthHeart at the top of the hill between The Park and the Smallworld was the best place on site between 2am-8am and the best overall was Clara's Caribbean opposite Burrow Hill Cider.
  21. I was told that they've changed the way they award marks, they used to have fixed points which indicated a grade i.e. anything above 90% was an A, now they award the grades based on percentages regardless of the mark achieved i.e. the top 10% get an A* regardless of their score, meaning if the top 5% score 55-60% then that sets the standard for the marking system and they get an A*.
  22. 116.9 for Derv at Sainsbury's Fareham and Wickham Shell is usually closely priced.
  23. Keep him, he 'manned up' and took responsibility for his mistake straight after the match and faced the press, that takes alot of courage and shows strong character IMHO.
  24. I think you win that all by yourself
