I was there and I can't agree with that assessment of Puncheon. Otherwise we are all in agreement - Cork Puncheon Lallana, Lambert, Shaw, Clyne were all excellent. Jose did ok as did Maya, bar one mistake. Nearly made up for it with overhead kick though. Ramirez still doesn't quite cut it for me, but he was getting better just before he came off, and made a couple of good tackles helping out in defence. Hopefully he is getting fitter, or more used to Premiere League style of play, or whatever it is. Atmosphere and support for Nige was excellent. Thoroughly enjoyable game...for a change!

This. Just back from the game and Cork, Lallana and Puncheon were excellent. Rickie did well, still not sure about Gaston. Pleased to see him put in a tackle or two, but was pushed of the ball easily a couple of times. Just one bad gaffe from Yoshida today, who nearly scored a cracker, and did ok otherwise, as did Fonte. Shaw was decent as was Clyne. Not too impressed with Gaza though. All round a decent performance and thank **** for 3 points at last

Clyne for MOM. apart from AL on a couple of occasions, the only player who ran with the ball in the right direction. What is the point of possession if it is all Chuckle brothers passing that goes sideways and then backwards? Apart from the 2 players mentioned above, the only time we took the ball forwards was when we hoofed it. MS' reputation as midfield maestro with a range of passing took a serious hit tonight. Can't decide about Fonte's performance - good, bad, and ugly. Ramirez was definitely poor though.... And Mayuka and Guly came on too late and then produced FA. It all left me depressed but not surprised. Oh well there's always swansea....

It works again for me now, despite nothing having changed on my computer! it does however say at the top "We've rebranded our website to provide you with a range of new and exclusive features." Sounds liek something got reset. I called it ominous because, as others have noted, previously the site would go down before big signings....or sackings. Glad to see there's nothing like that happened
