I will not pamper to your whim's and wining

I'd be with you if only you'd said whims and whining ;-) Apparently now everyone expects Koeman to resign Lol. we certainly are going through "interesting times" as Saints fans, but I'm keeping the faith. Always darkest before the dawn etc. I can only assume that we are clearing out troublemakers and cashing in on the current price premium for young English players..... Is there a whiff of a new UEFA ruling in the air? so long as we have some decent players coming in, and I have to trust that we will, we'll be fine. I'd even take a Faustian deal on Schneiderlin leaving (which would be gutting) if it meant smashing Liverpool at Anfield! We haven't been tested as supporters so much since "League 1 minus 10", but look at what we went on to achieve..... -
I'll have to get some of your rose tinted glasses. he looked poor and ineffective to me. Endless turns and feints, usually followed by loss of possession. Almost every tackle he made gave away free kicks. Wasted many deadball situations when other more able people [eg Rickie, JWP] were available. Either injured or considered not good enough by manager to get much match time. Oh did I mention how much he cost?

Yes thanks are due to ML. That photo with the camera is great

Is this a little dig at Pochetino from Cork?

I know I'm still bitter, but where does this come from? He managed ONE team before Saints. In his time that team finished 10th, 8th, 11th and were BOTTOM of the league when he was sacked. This in front of home crowds of 19,000. Saints was a MASSIVE step up for him, inheriting an excellent squad and top notch facilities. I am really going to enjoy watching it go wrong for him [like every other manager] at Spurs. I do agree with you that leaving Cork out was a big mistake though ;-) -
Lovren,Lallana,Lambert to Liverpool ,Lovely just

Interesting list that - well researched! Some name s jogged the memory, and now I realise this is just another close season. Hope Pelle/Tadic don't turn out to be the new Rudi Skacel though. -
Don't, don't don't, don't believe the hype
-
No, you're not alone ;-)
-
What a stupid comment. Anyone who actually has kids with Saints shirts knows that the names wear out after 1 season at best.
-
Shaw wasn't even pretending to sing. Shabby.
-
You are definitely clutching at straws. He's pants and we would do well to get what we can for him.
-
Oh I don't know.....thanks to Suarez he might get the chance to be a regular starter at Anfield :-P
-
Good to hear. Cheers.

Liverpool FC. Is it time to stop any further deals?

FWIW Les Reed said ALMOST a top 20 club in the world. I love the Saints, but lets be realistic eh? -
If that's the right hashtag then no one is following them. That hashtag is for people who want to follow "Globalsfc - Proud DoD contractor in Somerset, PA. UNREP, Accumulators and Navy Valves." HTH.

Nice to see it acknowledged on the tell last night. ;-)

over 28 games LOL. If you were manager for 1 game, and won that game, would that make you the best manager in the world with your 100% win rate?
-
??? Bigger grounds maybe, but Stuttgart [finished 15th out of 18] and Hanover [finished 10th out of 18] don't look like much to me. Do you think Bundesliga is a harder league than the Premier League.....or easier?
-
??? I don't get it. He's old, got health problems, has not managed any club of note and hasn't managed anyone in .5 years. What is ther to lik?
-
Really enjoyed the SRL and Poche posts. Nice writing. Keep 'em coming!
-
Wow - he's got a lot of balls!
-
Choked up after reading that. He will always be one of our great players. So who's going to be our new number 7?
-
This. Can't blame Rickie for jumping at the chance but it is still madness on our part.
-
Can't deny him this if it's true. He's been a fantastic player for Saints and will always be a legend. That said he is 32, and a scouser to boot, so can't blame if if he wants to join LFC as a bench warmer. Just don't sign before the world cup ;-) oh and he's worth more like £8 million to Rogers!
