Marks been doing stewarding in the Northam since st Mary's opened. Absolutely cracking guy and very much one of us to the extent that you see him at away games and he's said in the past if he could afford it he'd get a season ticket in the northam with us. Can only speak for those around us but everyone has a hell of a lot of time for him and he always uses common sense too. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

They have a fairly sizeable London fan club, i know this because one of my Italian workmates is a member of it. Also they're having Giuseppe Baresi over the Wednesday before the game to do a talk to their London fan club. He didn't reckon they'd take more than 500 to St Mary's as (in his words) they're sh*t at the moment and they don't travel even when they're good.

Out of interest why do you support saints? I'm always baffled by people supporting sides from places they're not from but choosing us is just madness, i mean we have no choice it's an infliction, but to actively choose us... you must hate yourself! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Have to be honest i thought the vocal side of things we pretty poor at times in the ground itself, but i understand we took a lot that don't normally stand or get behind the team (something i don't think i'll ever understand to be honest as in over 30 years i still sing my heart out). Must be honest the OWTS when it was sung by everyone was hairs on the back of the neck stuff, if only everyone had joined in with all the songs what an atmosphere that would've been!

And I was for Israel and I will be for Prague. But this one is different mate, and if you're honest with yourself you know that. Many of us grew up with inter as one of the great footballing side, most of us didn't ever expect to see little old saints playing there ever. I don't see what the problem is with being excited for that really? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

To be fair mate on this occasion we are the noddy fans because not a single saints fan in their lifetime has ever done or seen this before. I've been doing home and away for over three decades and this one is special. For different reasons than others but in the main because I can honestly say I never really expected to play Milan in my lifetime. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Jesus you lot are soft, i was basically saying most people will want to stand a lot of the newbies will want to sit. Therefore if we just arrange ourselves no one will moan. But as always with this place it turns into people needing to moan. Surely it's just common sense that the sitters (which will be more than the average away game) just head to the front, and everyone who wants to stand heads to the back, then no one gets p*ssed off, instead of just sticking to the rules and going to the seat that stated on your ticket. Honestly I swear we have some of the most goody goody, whinging self righteous fans in the league sometimes.
-
Block 207 for me, though i'll probably just find a decent spot to stand where i can hang the flag. Out of interest are we going to have people that want to sit? Might make sense for the sitters to just head straight to the front if they've got seats further back so our support doesn't ***** and moan at each other (since i appreciate this'll be many fans first away game and they won't know the rules of away travel)

Trust me i work in the industry and i know the agency personally that does all of the social for Saints (as well as many other advertising and social media agencies) if you think you know more than me about this one i know for a fact you're wrong.
-
Thought that Stockholm one you lot were singing in Israel was class, seemed to take on too. Might be worth sticking the words up here for some of our lot who didn't travel out there though.
-
Would be very surprised if it's allocated seating to be honest, my experience of European away games is you turn up and find a spot. Although with so many non regular away travellers i can see there being loads of *****ing and moaning about people "not being in their seats" or standing during the game.
-
To be fair his answer is also completely wrong. I know who the social media agency are and the account is run by humans responding according to a very specific tone of voice with very small parts scripted.
-
Dumb question but how did you know where to find him? I'm planning on making the very short trip up to white hart lane on Friday morning to show support but not sure which side he'll be at Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I know someone that works in head office for one of the major supermarkets, their current pricing is being reassessed as a result of Brexit and the minimum viable price rise to manage the damage in trading conditions they are planning for is a 15% increase across all goods.

Possible chants: Spoiler Alert no mention of Pompey!

Absolute ******** mush, some of us have regularly come up with songs that stuck, but those ones are just sh*t. Two songs about an irrelevant noddy club supported by people in fancy dress, one that makes us look small time as it's completely wrong and al of them to a tune that's so over used it's dull. The best I've heard in recent seasons is the "he's our Cedric one" to oasis's she's electric but for some reason no one bothers with it. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -

I think there's a two fold thing at play here. Quite often people "sharing" their number are doing it on a game by game basis. I know i've shared mine on the occasions that the person who i normally go with can't make it. But normally in those cases it goes to another friend that goes fairly regularly anyway (home and away as much as they can). The ones that really, really get my goat are the lot who buy the away tickets in the first release then IMMEDIATELY sell them on social media accounts. There's a few of these that are very obvious and you'll see them tout their tickets out almost straight away after they've come on sale. Personally i'd like to see Saints as a club monitor accounts like the Saints tickets one on twitter, and if they see someone doing it regularly (since let's be honest there's always a time when people need to get rid of tickets for one reason or another) and ban them for a few seasons from buying away tickets.
-
You mean like the Skates did when we played City at home a couple of seasons back? Jumped off the train and headed up to below bar. Though by all accounts they must've been late for their train back as they had to run back to central to catch it.

If anyone wants a laugh, or to just remember how utterly f*cking deluded they are then take a read of this thread... Some choice quotes from there too... http://fansonline.net/portsmouth/mb/view.php?id=661232

The idea that people who want to be involved in bother don't have season tickets or away histories is laughable. I'd imagine our more "active" supporters are probably in the top 1% of our support, and almost certainly were out in Israel.

Allocation was supposed to be 1700 but sounds like a hefty chunk of that has gone to corporates so i'm not sure anyone actually knows. For what it's worth i always expected this to be the most over subscribed game. Cheap to get to, great city for a p*ss up, last group away game and a smallish ground.
-
Wasn't a dig at you mush. More the people on social media who bought them today and immediately put the on the saints tickets account for sale, including the booking fee. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I think this is thread for season ticket holders that have bought aways to get points but have no intention of going to sell them on...
