  1. Here you go http://www.guardian.co.uk/football/2010/feb/18/portsmouth-premier-league-transfers
  2. Tesco
  3. To my eternal shame I actually went to that game - it was a cracking atmosphere as I recall. I probably went to one or two of the others although I can't remember which ones for sure. What I do remember, when standing under the South Stand, was all the pіss flowing out of the toilets. Oh and the football - kick and run! absolutely dire.
  4. If Pimpley go bust http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepage/sport/football/2854846/FA-have-no-plan-if-Pomp-go-pop.html?OTC-RSS&ATTR=Football (Can't start a new thread) I know it's the Sun but surely Brum will get a bye.
  5. Brilliant! absolutely hilarious! and if you look in the background you can even see Trevor Brooking laughing. No-one outside of Pikey Island likes Pompey.
  6. He was in the Directors Box recently and I'm pretty sure it was the Stockport game. Didn't pay much attention to what was going on behind me so can't say whether there was any interaction between them during the match.
  7. It's not an implication, it's a statement of fact (although I doubt that is what the Ticket Office actually meant).
  8. Yep, there was a definite disagreement of sorts going on!
  9. Taken from this feed http://www.timesonline.co.uk/tol/sport/football/article7021629.ece
  10. Another vote that can be 'fixed' or helped. Using the Private Browsing facility (found in Tools in Firefox 3.5), cast your vote then end the session. Start a new Private Browsing session and you can vote again. Repeat until you get bored.
  11. Has missed some of the last few at St. Marys.
  12. Actually, the article says he "may renegotiate his contract" - that doesn't mean he will.
  13. This is where the only problem will be - not everyone will agree that the design chosen will be the best. Where you have stated that your favourite shirt is the early 80's, I much prefered the draper tools sponsored red 'n' white stripes with the black collar from the 90's. Whatever the design though, isn't it great that we won't have that awful plastic flybe logo anymore!
  14. Was thinking about this last night. If loan players were to be paid (either all or most of the monthly salary) by the lending club, ie the lending club were doing it for the benefit of the player to give them first team experience, then it's reasonable to expect any player who is not getting a regular start would go. However, if Portsmouth have to pay (most if not all the salary due to) the player (which I believe to be the norm) then the only reason that I can think of would be to put the player in the 'shop window' for next season. It must be depressing being a skate right now!
  15. They are really in the deep and smelly - their website is no longer working either (just try it!) http://www.portsmouthfc.co.uk/ GO ON, TRY IT!!!
  16. This is long winded but the only way you can do it is to log on to each of the other accounts. Once in the other account hit "My Account" (top right) and if you expand the "Cup Match & Renewals" section on the left hand side you will be a 5 character 'Access code' in the match details. Make a note of this number (and if you are doing this for more than 1 linked account make sure you get the customer number too) and then log out. (Repeat for as many linked accounts as you have/want to do). Log back in to your account. Book your seat and if I recall correctly there should be an option to add friends or tickets - it's fairly obvious. This is where you will need the customer number and the access code you noted as described above. It does work, I have done it three times now, the FA Cup matches and the JPT match. I have also discussed it via email with David Luker - and he acknowledges that the system is not perfect. If you are booking your own regular seat and the regular seat of the linked accounts I can't see any advantage to go through the hassle of logging on and off and on and off several times just to get all the tickets into one envelope - you might just as well log into each account and buy the one ticket. Maybe it will be changed for next season. HTH
  17. When the BBC showed it at lunch time, it was in the headlines at the beginning of the show so make sure you watch from the beginning. As for was she as attractive as this - I would say more attractive in a porcine way! Loved the bit when she went "Portsmouth ... Southampton .... Goodbye ... Goodbye".
  18. All you need is a little 'googling' and the answer will be found try http://www.footballgroundguide.com/northampton_town/#By%20Train

  20. When I was a little boy I asked my mother "should I support Saints or should I support Portsmouth", after all I am from the Isle of Wight and both teams have a following over hera. She took a bar of soap to me and washed out my mouth for even uttering the P word. I am not a violent man and my father has never actually owned a gun so I couldn't do the rest of her bidding but I have always supported Saints and can't even imagine myself following anyone else. Que Sera Sera!
  21. Not so sure about that Art. The last time Steve Coppel was at St. Mary's was probably to check out forthcoming opposition in the play-off's (Burnley if I recall correctly). The picture below shows that he was dressed appropriately for the day. I would also add that Steve Cotteril was there yesterday and he too was all suited and booted, but he sat well back from the main Director's area.
  22. Indeed she is
  23. We must sit close to each other!
  24. Unfortunately this is a popular myth. See the article below. http://www.thisislocallondon.co.uk/news/169982.how_london_bridge_was_sold_to_the_states/
