better

If that's directed at my comment, let me be clear - I'm not moaning - pretty excited tbh. What is your point regarding current players who never played in the prem though? At least half of them are pretty woeful?
-
My reply wasn't meant as a compliment as I'm sure you're aware. I'm aware of the arguments you set out (even if you take far too many words to make them). I was pointing out that Wade has a point and your remark was unnecessarily dismissive.
-
That's a clever remark, but WG has a point - how do you know anyone we have signed is going to be better than we have? None of them have even played in the prem let alone proven themselves
-
It's obviously true because he ended up at the Scousers despite Saints inviting clubs to come in and get him (If my memory serves me right?)
-
Lingard is miles better than any of our 10's. No brainer of a deal.
-
Guessing by the increased volume of his posts he has broken up for summer holidays. At least the kids get a break from his pedantry for 6 weeks

Guys this is the new model, like it or loathe it. I'm excited to see anyone come in at this stage. Still hoping for another striker in and move Armstrong on -
now you're just being silly
-
Depends... did Fred have a 22 goal PL season a few years back?
-
Occam's razor. I agree with you. We need to get some decent strikers in soon. A Armstrong looked dogshit again yesterday.
-
It would be a tough ask. The big 6 all look like they have strengthened. There is certainly a chance though. Given the immense wealth they have it's only a matter of time anyway
-
We are doing the equivalent of betting on penny stocks
-
Yep, agree with this. He is going to be a top striker
-
I know it's probably true as things currently stand, but that "would be decent for you though" is typical top 6 fan sort of saying. Which is why beating them in their own yard last season was so satisfying
-
and quite ironic that they will have bought 3 of the players who played in the 0-9 against them 🙂 Edit: don't think vest played in that did he?
-
I wouldn't blame him for everything but he was completely clueless last 3rd of the season
-
Seems to be a bit of legs on this KWP thing. Arsenal and Manure interested too? or is that bull crap? Can see other posters saying its a smoke screen to get Spence over the line makes sense
-
He has been great for us, a breath of fresh air in a pile of poo. If we do have to sell for £30m, that's a tidy profit though and perfectly fits the model of buying cheap and selling later for a profit so wouldn't be a surprise if he is sold tbh
-
Good player. Forest are not holding back. They are putting a decent team together
-
He does look real quality - voted Afcon young player of the tournament earlier this year too. Would love to get him on a perm deal!
-
It''s amusing because it's being brushed under the carpet as "recency bias"
-
By recency bias, I'm guessing you mean Last 12 games: L9 D2 W1 For 10 Against 31 during which Ralph proved himself spectacularly inept 😂 As he is being backed by the new owners, I really hope you are right and I'm wrong in our assessments of the man. As you say, looking brighter on the player front - at least attempts are being made to address this.
-
I guess a good question is how long Ralph has if we are having a dreadful start 10 games in or so. He seemed utterly clueless during the run in. But this is going over old ground. I'm really glad the new owners are at least attempting to address the player issues we currently have
-
Recent form is the best indicator of future form. Hopefully things now change with the incomings, but to simply put it down to "recency bias" is naive at best. It wasn't the first time we had such a poor run of form and quite frankly is was utter utter clueless turd not just "bad"
