Pochettino Joining Spurs (Official)
Golac's Cunning Stunts replied to Saint Matty 76's topic in The Saints
He also tweeted this I genuinely dont mind if players/managers move on to what they perceive as better things but dont mug fans off along the way with lies -
Fair enough Toon. They all look like very disappointing alternatives at the moment that's all.
-
Fantastic player, not sure about his coaching credentials
-
Why would Rosler be good but Moyes only acceptable? And Lambert and Mackay would be acceptable.. really? How do you rate their chances of keeping hold of our want away talent when they have their heads turned?
-
But thats the point. It shouldn't be a panic appointment. We all knew the argie was leaving so surely the board did weeks ago? So surely they have already done their homework and sounded out the replacements. Please don't tell me this has come as a shock to them? If we dally around now, it will be a vote of no confidence from the players no doubt about it

Any news on Adam Lallana though? -
How naive. In the meantime, half the first team will be gone. We need to move swiftly to stop this happening. Surely the board has known for some time that we might be in need of a new manager and has already sounded guys like this out? But no... let's have a fu-ckin twitter converstaion about it
-
Oh right, shall we wait for him to see how "our" players perform in the WC then? In the mean time we stand a fair chance of getting ripped apart. The board need to issue a hands off statement now to all the vultures circling. And fu-ck some guy issuing quotes on Twitter. We need serious action from the board now.

Sherwood and mclaren would both be an embarrassment Can't believe we are already considering stooping that low.
-
Have to admit I don't know too much about him. WHy would he be such a great appointment? I know Basel beat Chelski twice in the CL and that is an achievement, but what else makes you so keen? (Honest question - not a saracastic one)
-
Personally feel that after pochettino, having mcclaren would be like going back to the dark ages. Really would not welcome him at the club.
-
Unbelievable Jeff
-
Ha there's the first problem then. McClaren and well managed don't seem to go together too well. Definitely a championship team even if it was well managed anyway.
-
Tell me you aren't serious? That team is mid table championship.
-
I see what you did there. Clever.
-
Never a truer word spoken
-
Did a great job at Burnley too
-
No worries - it's difficult on here to read people's posts the right way! I agree with your point bt football is nothing if not emotional I guess
-
No need to be so defensive. I don't know why they were sacked and was merely asking. Your point about "disloyalty" swinging both ways is an obvious one, but that doesn't stop people feeling emotional about it. Bit like when you get dumped, the girl is evil and unfeeling but when you dump someone, it is completely justified and what's the big fuss?

Hi this is Ralph. Unfortunately I am unable to respond to your email at this time as I am on my holidays. I will be back in six weeks time, but if you can't wait that long, please email Mauricio Pochetino@THFC.co.uk who may be able to help.

Do you know the reasons for Dodd and Williams getting the boot?
-
Hmmm I can't think why.
-
Seriously would not want McKay, McClaren, McCarthy anywhere near this club - all very much at home in the Championship, not as a manager of a top 8 PL side...
-
Why?
-
Will be extremely disappointed with any of those but would all be good in the Championship I suppose
