  1. If that really is the reason, then I'm glad he doesn't have pace. He makes up for his lack of pace with his technical ability. Matt Le Tiss didn't have much pace, yet was still world class. I think the major thing missing from his game to take him to that level is his finishing - and that he can improve on.
  2. And that's a relation to what... Kelvin Davis' recent short goal kicks?
  3. Thread scores 10/10.
  4. Well done. Now there's a picture of that clown up this thread has to marked 'not safe for work'.
  5. How bad did his injury look?
  6. If you're really talking to a son of MLT show him some respect by getting your head out of your iphone/other unnecessarily expensive smart phone
  7. Arsenal are also in poor form but if we got a point at the Emirates I'd be happy. Yes different I know, but it's a similar situation. Form is temporary. Burnley are a good side despite their start to the season. Plus they beat Derby away so they're clearly no mugs.
  8. Everyone is disappointed we didn't win the game. As Adkins says and will continue to say "We want to win every game of football" but Barcelona we are not, and not even they win every game. We'll draw some games, we'll lose some games (be prepared, it will happen), and a point away to Burnley ain't nothing to be ashamed of especially considering our great start. If we were bottom with no points then perhaps I'd be a little worried that we went another game without winning, but we're top of the league, playing well and picking up points even when we go behind.
  9. Look at the reaction of one or two posters when we draw a game... my goodness. This place will be hell if we dare to lose one. Burnley are a decent side who put us under a lot of pressure. We've got a point and could have won the game, not a bad result by any means.
  10. Excellent today, nice one. It's about time though
  11. Schneeebleeey!!
  12. What Saints want to do now is go on and win the game
  13. According to Adam Blackmore we're playing West Ham today
  14. I don't understand all this "he left in the wrong way", nonsense. The only thing I can think of was the ill-advised story he gave to the press just before his move, which was clearly the work of his cretin father, not AOC. On the day he signed for the Arse he was full of praise for us on the Arsenal website. Compare that to someone like Kevin Phillips who actually slated us on the day he left, now there's a player who deserves a boo. Booing AOC would just be weird. Or "just a bit of fun" as someone posted above... Ok mate, what ever floats your boat.
  15. Sweet. Obviously haven't seen him in action "live" so to speak this season but I've always been a fan of his, so very pleased to hear this news.
  16. Thought exactly the same when watching his interview. Adkins has performed miracles for this club. Happy times, great success!
  17. You and Hypo I'd imagine, for not sensing Charlie Waymans sarcasm.
  18. Or maybe we should check to hear what justmike has to say about it first.
  19. Yes. We've been sold. Cortese has quit, Adkins has walked, Milan Mandaric has bought us and the original Ted Bates statue has been re-erected in front of the stadium. Simple. Close thread.
  20. Ah yeah fair enough. Will it be happening again then?
  21. Class keeper and good bloke. Has his weaknesses but we couldn't do much better than him.
  22. What would the point of this be? Didn't really understand it last time, as this site is apparently not run for profit.
  23. Or another way of looking at it, get them accustomed to playing on proper pitches and in proper stadiums so the step up to the first team isn't quite as great. It's the same as Barcelona have with the Mini Estadi.
  24. http://www.securitykiss.com www.internetfreedom.org/FreeGate These work well for me
