Every time we have a thread like this we get your kind on here! "Why are you moaning? It doesn't cost much" etc etc And every time you completely miss the points made in the thread. Despite you being correct about having access to this forum 365 days a year, the whole point that the charge was introduced was to improve the service on a match day.

To be fair though, he does raise a decent question. You mention that this forum is miles better than the one SaintsForever had, but what does this forum offer that the old one didn't? Thanks for the replies thus far, and stevegrant you say you're fed up with people constantly moaning... the only reason we moan is because we pay money for a service which isn't up to it on a match day! It's not something we enjoy or have as a hobby.

Yeah, the Brighton and Plymouth ones from last season were particularly bad. Colchester too IIRC. However, with the Saints Player log in you've got access to every other league clubs 'Player' so there are often more highlights to view there. Barnsley for example have the full 90 minutes of our 1-0 win up, and Ipswich have 10 minutes of normal highlights available. So it's still worth getting Saints Player even if sometimes the highlights are a bit weird - which, I have to say, are not this time.

Having seen the video, that's actually pretty good. I was expecting one of those ones where the editing is so random you can't actually see what's going one. One minute you're looking at Lallana with the ball then from another angle you can only see his feet, then you can only see Kelvins midriff for a second or two, then a quick shot of Hardings ear-lobe and then for a few split seconds you see some football being played. All of this being played to some sort of funky house beat. The Ipswich video is decent though.

It depends, in what year were you born? Nah only kidding, yes for some reason the guys who run SaintsPlayer have an annoying habit of producing these silly highlight clips with annoying music and bizarre editing. Those in charge have probably got a Media Studies degree from somewhere like Soton Solent or Thames Valley and they're "showing it off". They did it a few times last season, but haven't seen the Ipswich one yet. Will check it out now.

Always liked watching him in League 1 and by all accounts it seems he's stepped up to Championship football with ease, as many predicted. Like Morgan, the style of football in this league could well suit him down to the ground. I also hope he gets off the mark on Saturday. Cork, Fonte and De Ridder too.

It's the only way to travel to away games for me when I'm in the country. I usually bring a picnic big enough for everyone to share, cheeses, fruit, maybe a big pack of Worthers Originals, although haven't been able to do that for a while due to the economic downturn. The travel club just has a lovely community feel which you don't get on a train. I also love it when we have a sing-a-long and the tension of the "who's going to win the Man of the Match poll?" is sometimes too much to handle! Nah, In all seriousness though I f***ing love those coaches.

The commentators on Solent were saying similar things, so it's nice to have it confirmed from someone on here who was actually there. Always like the "just back from the game" threads.
