  1. Lol, ironing.
  2. Picture 8, above the XXXX Gold board, about 4 rows back. Sash shirt visable. http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/cricket/england/9262413.stm
  3. Who thought of the name Adam Snowlana? Wasn't it a poster on here? That's shocking. Snow-se Fonte as suggested by the OS is much better.
  4. What? Report what's been said by a player? Yeah, why do they bother?
  5. I'd say not better than Le Tiss, but bloody close. Definitely one of our best ever IMO.
  6. Thanks to bpsaint whose videos they are.
  7. What a season that was... Strachan, Marsden, Beattie, Niemi, Bridge, Killer, Cardiff.
  8. The thread that keeps on giving. Any more?
  9. :? You need help mate. Who the **** is getting moist? Facepalm x 500.
  10. Same problem for me today, first time it's happened. Pah.
  11. Good post VectisSaint.
  12. Completely agree. So many times this season I've been infuriated just by noticing Lambert out wide or outside the box when an attack is progressing. Not sure whether it's tactical or laziness/not-as-good-as-last-seasonness. I'd guess at a bit of both.
  13. What a great draw. Apart from having a lot of personal history with Blackpool as a place there are a lot of reasons for me to be happy with this draw. An exciting team to watch who play two leagues above us, it's winnable and what's more... we can sing "Posh Spice is a slapper" again. One of the best football songs ever sung IMO. This is what football is about isn't it? Having fun. Not, watching some highly over paid youngsters from Manchester United run around and destroy our team, whilst sitting with a load of plastics who destroy the atmosphere.
  14. Not necessarily. Maybe Adkins thought Mills was good enough for his Scunny team but not for this Southampton team? We have Harding and Dickson after all.
  15. He's definitely impressed in the last two games. We'll have a right battle on for the left back slot when Harding is fit and back to his best.
  16. No, he's not crap. He's really quite good, as he proved when he started against Tranmere. All our play came through him. His link up play is a class above, and he times runs brilliantly. Not to mention he chases all sorts of lost causes to good effect. He's basically just a better version of Papa Waigo. But yes, we need a new scapegoat now Puncheon has gone so this thread makes sense.
  17. No, come to the Chapel. We need more vocal supporters. It's tiresome sometimes trying to get the others going. You won't be alone!
  18. Whose twitter? Not saints'. http://www.twitter.com/officialsaints
  19. No, there are definitely a lot of fans who go just to see Prem games. That isn't up for debate really. And yes, they'll also turn up for the odd big game, like the ones you listed above.
  20. Bump to remind everyone with the power of a singing voice to get VIVA LALLANA going tonight. VIVA LALLANA VIVA LALLANA Running down the wing Hear Southampton sing VIVA LALLANAAAAAAAAAAAA VIVA LALLANA... etc
  21. When in the Prem at SMS we had a lot of "football fans" who went to games just for the fun of watching Premiership football. I knew of at least 10 people myself who did this, and it happens at every club in the country. It's understandable, and they will return when we eventually do.
  22. That reminds me. Going all the way up to Newcastle a few years ago, only for the game to be called off 'cause of the snow was not only cold, but bloody, bloody annoying.
  23. to have Guly as cover in this league we are extremely lucky. He has a lot of class. His touch is great and his movement and timing of runs ain't half bad either. What a wonderful option to have when one of our best players (Barnard) gets injured. Oh, and Connolly is there too. But Guly is class, no doubt about that. And yes, he missed two sitters, that there is also no doubt.
  24. So we all agree this is the best song for Lallana. Let's get it going on Tuesday. It'll be difficult from my position in the Chapel, but if I hear it coming from the Northam I will join in wholeheartedly.
  25. And whilst we're on the subject of the 125 year celebration... great video before the game, but why the **** was MLT only on it ONCE? All the way through I was thinking, Le Tissier must be getting his own video as he's not featured at all... then the one last goal at the dell and the video ended shortly after. Hmmm.
