I have to agree completely, sadly. He just wasn't there today. His first touch with his feet is atrocious. Taking it out of the air first touch, he's still awesome, but if you pass to Lambert's feet nowadays and it'll bounce 5 feet away from him every time. We all love Lambert, but he needs to be dropped in order to sort his form out.

Hammond has always been a player I've rated, and although he was very close but didn't win my MOTM, he's been showing the sort of form we saw when we first bought him.

We do have cover, so it's not the end of the world. But it is pretty **** news, he's a good player and when he performs, very often the team seems to respond. If he's off form (which, admitedly, he has been a fair few times this season) then the team can struggle.

That 1% of you is correct. His best position is upfront, without a doubt. It's where he can make best use of his wonderful flicks to forward runners and his neat passing. He has been so much more affective upfront than in midfield where he is wasted.
