  1. I have to agree completely, sadly. He just wasn't there today. His first touch with his feet is atrocious. Taking it out of the air first touch, he's still awesome, but if you pass to Lambert's feet nowadays and it'll bounce 5 feet away from him every time. We all love Lambert, but he needs to be dropped in order to sort his form out.
  2. Hammond has always been a player I've rated, and although he was very close but didn't win my MOTM, he's been showing the sort of form we saw when we first bought him.
  3. Have you perhaps considered that we are essentially talking about a charity here? If they can get any money back for the shirts, (which is the only reason they would take them back) then that's more money for the foundation.
  4. This is why a "rep" system would work wonders on this forum. You'd get "repped" right now for making me laugh out loud.
  5. absolutely. i like this new messi/lallana song we have now, but viva lallana would rock.
  6. You've got 590 odd posts. How the f*ck have I never noticed you before if your posts are as moronic as these??? NB. I spotted Iwan Thomas at Wembley for the JPT. He's always been a fan as far as I know.
  7. It'll be interesting if someone asks Cortese about the plans at the Fans forum in the new year. It has gone rather quiet on the Staplewood front.
  8. Who cares? It's a nice kit ain't it? PS. Doggface, I have copyright on this avatar
  9. We've won 6 out of our last 8 games. If our confidence is paper thin now, it'll never be thick.
  10. No. Count the number of players. Trialist was in the starting 11, then got subbed. They just didn't write it very well.
  11. That's his point I think. A number means nothing, whether it's 100, 104, 125, or whatever. It's just a landmark people use to celebrate things. Get over it.
  12. I know so far they've scored more goals than our boys so far, but I know I'd rather have 3 of Lambert, Barnard, Connolly, Guly or Lallana as opposed to Boyd, Mackail-Smith and Maclean.
  13. got a good feeling about this one, 3-0 or 3-1... trouble is, i'm always wrong with my predictions. so 4-0 it is then.
  14. I'd be really disappointed if there isn't something before the game, but I thought we'd have heard about it by now if there was something planned...?
  15. Stop being so difficult, you know what Sour Mash is trying to say. Unless I'm mistaken, he's saying that a Saints fan won't really care where he/she has to sit, as long as they get to the game. So for someone to say "well I'm not going if I can't sit in the Kingsland" suggests they don't care too much. Nothing more, nothing less.
  16. Bit of an over reaction. I've never booed Puncheon, (I think he's a good player when his mind is switched on) and I definitely consider myself to be a genuine Saints fan... but it's not a "sad day".
  17. You reckon he's blown his cover?
  18. We do have cover, so it's not the end of the world. But it is pretty **** news, he's a good player and when he performs, very often the team seems to respond. If he's off form (which, admitedly, he has been a fair few times this season) then the team can struggle.
  19. I agree with your post delldays, but with regards to this point... ...you have played a bigger part in mindless moaning than most, if not all, over the years on this messageboard. So I think this picture deserves another airing.
  20. AFC Wimbledon away pllleeeeeeeeeeease. Would be a few minutes walk for me where I am at the moment.
  21. Indeed! Apologies to Guly.
  22. Apparently we took Tommy Forecast instead of a sell on clause. More likely though that we took a little more cash upfront, instead of a sell on.
  23. You really are a lemon of the highest order. You have a go at Bale for not choosing to play for England despite not being English, but you also have a go at Pietersen who did indeed decide to play for England despite not being English. To me to you to me to you.
  24. He really is. Well, at home he has been.
  25. That 1% of you is correct. His best position is upfront, without a doubt. It's where he can make best use of his wonderful flicks to forward runners and his neat passing. He has been so much more affective upfront than in midfield where he is wasted.
