Amazing that we're still paying for that decision all these years later. Would love to see a proper study into how much £££ appointing Puel cost us in both the short and long term. Imagine where we'd be if we appointed a competent manager to replace Koeman
-
Listen if you said to me you could have one, two, three, four or possibly five of those managers, I'd have to say yes. I'd just have to say yes. It's not one of those where you say "yes but Hughes", "Yes but Pellegrino", "Yes but RaHa"... I'd like you to listen to me I'd say yes to those managers. It's not too late either.

It's spelt Wan Bossaki.
-
Thing is he'd do a great job for a League 1 side pushing for promotion. Yet he's playing regularly for a Premier League club and pocketing £2.5 million per year before tax for the privilege.
-
He was thinking he could knock it past the defender who would then clatter into him and win a pen, when he could have had a shot on goal from 10 yards out. Horrible decision.
-
Oh well, if a bloke who works at BBC thought so then it must be true. Forster messed up royally, but the third was even worse from him. Elyonuseless and Stephens also woeful today and every day.
-
Ralph has really screwed this up. His first really bad managerial "performance" IMO. Imagine if you'd paid money to watch this.
-
Elyonoussi is an absolute shambles. Another pathetic flick from him in the build up to that goal when a turn and control would have seen us in a great position.
-
with Ralph confirming that 6-7 of the starting 11 will be "boys who haven't played much or at all this season" I think it's safe to say a defeat is the least of our worries!
-
Hasenhuttl confirms it'll be a reserve side playing, which is a great shame but at least gives the away fans who had planned to travel the opportunity to change their plans if they wanted. Ticket's have still been paid for though, so those who do attend will be paying Premier League prices for an U21 performance. Bit of a scandal really.

Wes Hoedt - Loaned to Antwerp: Official

He'd do an absolutely fine job in the Championship for a team pushing for promotion/play offs. If he wasn't so ignorant he'd probably accept a move there and let us recoup a little bit of the money we spent on him. Sure we could get a couple million for him from Derby or someone like that. But of course he thinks he should playing Champions League, so there's that... -
Damn those trees eh? What have they ever done for us?
-
He's ridiculously good, we are lucky that we got to watch him play for as long as we did. Could tell very early on that he was special, but now he's even better and fair play to Liverpool they'll make a cracking ROI if Barca or Real come calling.
-
So he's an even bigger prat than we ever thought? Although brave. Anyone standing behind their Brexit vote at this stage has seriously large balls.
-
Last summer was a different story though. There was contact and Theo and fam were keen, but financials got in the way.
-
Sorry to be the downer here, but there's nothing in this. Wish there was! There's been no contact between Saints and Theo (yet, at least!) and we're not expecting any to come.
-
We already have a fair few average centre backs. Don't need another.
-
Lemina was fine. Valery's delivery was poor. But bringing off Long took away that pressure on the Watford defence, Redmond did nothing on his own. Their defenders were delighted and it invited the pressure onto us. Sims gave the ball away when we desperately needed him to keep hold of the ball.
-
One of Gray's nasal hairs might have been offside, so yeh VAR probably would have disallowed it. Oh yay we have VAR to look forward to next season as well
-
We've dropped 24 points from winning positions
-
Our subs ruined the game. We must have the mentally weakest team in the history of the Premier League. Don't know how to kill off a game, that Watford goal was so obviously coming. Sick of this season and some of this team.
-
Being suuuuuper generous here... Cardiff will get another 7 points (beating Fulham, Palace and a draw against Man U) Brighton will get another 3 or 4 points (beating Newcastle and maybe picking up a lucky point elsewhere) Worst case scenario we would then need two draws or just one win from Watford, Bournemouth, West Ham and Huddersfield to stay up. Yeh, we're not going down.
-
I reckon Cardiff will win at least 2 more, and they might even surprise Man U on the final day. Thankfully, Brighton won't surprise anyone.
-
Is it comedy to see Saints fans frustrated at a poor performance? Not sure it's that funny really. If you're referring to the folks saying we're doomed and going down, they're here only to wind you up. Ignore them.
-
One more point will see us safe. Brighton will go down. Terrible first half, really quite decent second. All two of them? Not worth a mention really.
