  1. Wahey 6.66666 recurring more of those then and I'll have a perfect 10. Nah don't worry, I'm trying to cut down on my nonsense. It's very difficult to stop though. Similar to getting off heroin. Out of interest, how do you know what the Skates are thinking? Forums, I assume? Does anybody really care about them anymore seriously? I don't even know if I can muster the strength to "hate them". It all seems so futile and pointless. Perhaps it's down to their patheticness for so many years now, but I just can't take them seriously anymore.
  2. Really enjoyable listening to this. Seems level headed, humble and with a good sense of humour whilst having a clear plan.
  3. Haha blast from the past there. But actually that makes depressing reading. When Koeman left us we appointed a coach who is a far far inferior manager to all those three listed there. Les Reed, or whoever decided to hire him, should have been fired on the spot for that. It's still costing us now. Obviously Hughes and Pellegrino were poor too, but RaHa will still be working to undo the damage Puel did to this team. The effects will last an awful long time.
  4. RaHa is going to have his work but out if he's going to get MaYo and WeHo performing to any kind of Premier League level. YaVe has been a disappointment so far and where the hell is JaBe? From performing in the World Cup with his country to not even making the bench for us.
  5. Think we'll lose or more likely draw. Just hope the fans don't turn on RaHa after only one game, he needs time.
  6. Look at Vestergaard vs Man Utd for Herrera's goal. Vestergaard's complete inability to get back and mark Herrera in anyway should be something that can be fixed by good coaching. No excuses for that kind of lazy defending. Hopefully RaHa can improve the CBs we already have. Hoedt on the other hand...
  7. Truth. He's got his work cut out that's for sure. 3 diabolical managers on the trot before RaHa
  8. I get the impression those who go on about how awful Puel was only do so when somebody pipes up and says something about him being world class. But I reckon we won't be hearing much of Puel's name around here any more. We appear to have a competent manager in RaHa and one which might, just might, unite the fanbase. Dreaming?
  9. Fonte on RaHa: “I spoke with a couple of managers who know him and the references were very, very good,” said Fonte, who is now in France with Ligue 1 high-flyers Lille. “I expect good things and hope he can turn things around fast. But what I’ve heard is very good, very very good.” https://www.hitc.com/en-gb/2018/12/05/do-southampton-hero-jose-fonte-discloses-what-hes-heard-about-ra/
  10. Focus must now be 100% on RaHa. Puel is the past.
  11. Thanks for this. Players seemed happy to meet RaHa?
  12. RaHa has certainly brought this forum together, at least for now.
  13. Schmidt would have been exciting, hell Wenger would have been wonderful! But RaHa is pretty much as good as we could have hoped for I think.
  14. Eurgh, true. Our players fitness levels have been really poor for some time now. Reflects very badly indeed on Puel (well, obviously), Pellegrino and Hughes. RaHa is going to need to dramatically improve that if we want to stay up.
  15. To get us able to attack teams for more than just the first 10 minutes of each game. Good luck RaHa!
  16. Would really expect the players to step it up a gear tonight to try and impress RaHa. Could be an entertaining game.
  17. RaHa's English level seems good too, which is a bonus
  18. Idiots indeed. He's probably just seen as a bit of a unfashionable character. I love that we still have a couple of links back to the promotion side personally. I'd also like to see Lambert in as set-piece coach too, and reckon he'd just be a good bloke to have around the club again. Super Kelv though certainly doesn't deserve the abuse he has been getting on here.
  19. If RaHa is happy with the coaching set up then Watson and Davis will remain. It's down to him surely?
  20. I can't see RaHa falling in love with Shane Long just because he has pace. Shane is a good bloke but unfortunately not up to it anymore. If we go down then he might be very useful however.
  21. Hughes kept us up, then he proved to be a bit pants. He moves on with my best wishes. Now it's time to get behind and excited about RaHa.
  22. No photograph of RaHa holding the shirt or flag? #shambles
  23. Totally agree with the OP and I think some of the abuse KD has been getting on here and social media is pretty disgusting. Really hope the proposed chants don't actually get sung as they're fairly tasteless considering he was and is a great servant to the club.
  24. Hasen Hasen Huttl Huttl Hasen Hasen Ralph is Hasenhuttl Manager Hasen Hasen Huttle to the tune of Auld Lang Syne
  25. I think opting for a manager with an umlaut in his name really should excite the fans.
