He had a first half to forget, his negative play and loose passing stifled our attacking play. He was told to get forward more in the 2nd half which helped, and as Brighton didn't attack at all in the second period he wasn't shown up defensively. A worrying first showing, needs to improve dramatically or he won't make it in the Prem.

First half worst performance in a long time, such a strange line up from Ralph. Hoj at right back was a bad idea, and Hoj generally just needs to go. We're such a worse team when he's in the side. Vokins had a first half to forget, truly awful. Was clearly told to get forward more in the second half and he improved a little. He'll make a decent career for himself in the lower leagues. Hope we can find a good club for him and not waste anymore time pretending everyone who comes out of our academy is class. Smallbone appeared to be playing exclusively on the wing and couldn't get involved. Not his best showing. Obafemi's touch is dreadful and showed why he isn't a starter. Redmond quiet again, he does blow hot and cold. We really missed Armstrong too, he's becoming vital to the way we play. KWP changed the game when he came on. If we can get him for around £10mil he could go on to be like Bertrand for us. He's a level above anything we have at right back. Ings, never in doubt he'd score that. Shame he passed to Adams when he was almost through again.

There isn't a point. We got scammed by Birmingham. Unfortunately he's done nothing to show he deserves a spot in the side, and nothing to show he deserves to be a professional footballer either. However, if he does play lucky there isn't a live crowd in because the boos would be unnecessary. Yes he's one of the worst players we've ever had but that doesn't mean he deserves the abuse. Get behind the lads no matter their level. We'll lose this 1 or 2 nil.

So yes, playing football games even if behind closed doors won't be going ahead even if the players are "fit and healthy". The offsides have been the biggest joke about VAR this season. I know the arguments, "well technically one of his right nostril hairs was offside so that's a great decision". Ok fine if that excites you and pleases you then go ahead, but undoubtedly the offsides (then perhaps the handballs next?) have been the most disgraceful element of this debacle.
