Austin.... but f-me that's a hard thing to say. One man doesn't make a team. One position wont change everything. So losing one quality player, but gaining £10m and spending a bit of it on another quality player seems to make sense.

You and me both. I'd love to see somebody with the talent of Punch in our team, but not with his attitude which is the biggest problem. He would be playing if he wanted to - he clearly doesn't though.

I think that's just as telling as AOC being there, in terms of who we can expect to see playing for us for the rest of the season.

I know this has been discussed before, but it's still a problem so I thought I'd mention it again. When you first browse to the main landing page of the forum the forum considers you logged out. It wasn't a huge deal before, but now the link to 'The Saints' forum section is hidden from this page, it's a bit more annoying. FWIW, I've replaced three computers recently (work Windows 7 laptop, Macbook Air, iMac) and all have the same problem, all using Firefox, IE and Safari, as did the computers they replaced so I'm sure it's not a setup problem. I know it's hard to fix something if you can't see it, so I'd be more than happy to assist in any way I can, as I remember from the last discussion that I'm not the only one with this problem.

Whilst this is a terrible thing to happen and I desperately hope it isn't true, if it was to happen at any time, during a transfer window has to be the best.

A good point, for sure. But no team will win every game, it's about the performance over a season. Please come back with your witty comments at the end of the season. Although, you must have a very sad life if the first thing you think of doing after your team wins is posting on another teams internet forum.

Adkins is a trained and experienced Sports psychologist, something that shouldn't be underestimated or forgotten when thinking about how he deals with players. Whether or not we agree or understand what he does and why he does it, I'm sure he knows what he is doing and which players need a gentle push in the right direction.

I think it really is as simple as that. If he came back here I unfortunately think his attitude would make him believe he is too good for us, so he would be looking at the door all the time. Whether he stays at Millwall or goes elsewhere I don't know. I hope somebody buys him though rather than continues his loan, as I'd like us to cash in while we can and before his attitude takes over and his value drops as people work him out.

Exactly the sort of game and win we needed. Not just a win, but a comfortable and controlled win against a decent team. 2nd in the league
