  1. I just said the same thing in the 'Taxi' thread... Really good to see him bag a couple today, let's hope it's followed up with a permanent contract this coming week.
  2. I'm quite glad this Taxi never arrived now
  3. I disagree. You say it's down to the player alone to listen, adapt and change... who is he listening to if it's not the clubs coaching staff? Who is helping him adapt? Who is guiding and shaping the changes required if it's not the coaching staff? Attitude is just as important as technical ability and can and should be taught and coached.
  4. This seems to have changed from the Historical rumours thread to the Hysterical rumours thread.
  5. If he comes back he should earn his place, for us.
  6. While with us he was both **** and on form in equal measures, which was his biggest problem, IMO. The problem now is he will have it in his head he is better than us and League 1, he will have attracted interest from other clubs and chances are, he's gone. What gets me, is surely a part of being a coach and part of the investment SFC have made in youth development, is coaching inconsistent players with questionable attitudes. Why aren't we looking to keep, coach and improve him?
  7. I agree with you and also with the type of exception you make... If the player is better than we have now and will add quality to the team, I'd welcome them back. I think a fit Dexter would do this, so I'd welcome him back. He and Lambert together could bag a lot of goals. Otherwise, never go back.
  8. There was a brief comment on The Sun website that JP was a target of Newcastle. Desperate link to AP methinks, but amusing nonetheless.
  9. Absolutely agree! We should be looking and aiming for somebody better than Lambert to take the pressure off, making our other forwards the 'backup'. Add to the front of the queue, not the back. As for Exeter, they are a very well organised team I'm always cautious of. And Cureton always worries me too, he seems to score against us a little too often. That said, we should be beating teams like them easily if we want promotion.
  10. Wotton is the sort of player you want in a relegation fight, not a promotion push. Can't fault is effort, determination or work rate but he doesn't suit the style of football NA is building here.
  11. Promotion. That's all I expect and I'm not particularly bothered how it's delivered, so long as it is delivered.
  12. Who was a big success for us and when he left originally, the overwhelming majority of fans on this forum were disappointed to see go and desperately wanted to keep.
  13. We haven't lost them.
  14. There isn't a manager in the world that would stop this forum moaning like little girls about everything.
  15. I blame Puncheon.
  16. Kevin Philips, for being an arsehole. Plus he has cost me a few accumulator bets over the years with his stupid last minute goals.
  17. It could be that they want to make changes to the already agreed plan and have had to re-submit the plans for some parts. That's not uncommon for any planning application if changes are made after approval. It can even be really simple stuff, it doesn't have to be particularly complicated.
  18. I'm going to be brave and suggest a flawless service today... followed by normal (crappy) service being resumed next week. Here's hoping...
  19. I wonder if Saints are NC's only business interest or commitment? I wonder if now the immediate pressures of change and improvement are over and things are moving fairly steadily, he feels he has some time to put into other interests.

The station itself was garbage, but for a couple of hours each week it provided amusing and biased commentary of Saints, so it was great then. I don't mind paying for SaintsPlayer if I'm getting value out of it. If it guarantees me coverage of every game, in full, including pre and post match news and banter, from anywhere, then I'd gladly pay. But I really begrudge paying for a service that has had more problems and downtime than success this season. That's my beef.
  21. It could be true, it could be utterly made up. That's the beauty of Wikipedia. There have been mentions and mumblings of Cortese negotiating with the council about the expansion of SMS onto the surrounding areas, with the suggestion that if that couldn't go ahead he would look to build a new stadium elsewhere. It's all rumour and guesswork though. Anybody really in the know will be under very strict NDA terms so couldn't possibly comment, so take anything you read with a pinch of salt.

About half way into the second half I think, going by Twitter and comments here. In fairness not much happened in the game until then onwards anyway.
  23. Please don't make me do another plan.
  24. Oh balls. That somewhat ruins my plan. Ok, new plan... I'd love one more game against any team which we win and then I'd love a big-name Premiership club in the next round so we can have a great day out, put on a show, lose, feel no shame in the loss and then concentrate on the league.

Have you been using it over the last four or five weeks? The last person that said that here came back very quickly to eat their own words Even by Saints own admission, there have been problems.
