It’s a disgrace that was given as a foul. Even worse that VAR didn’t get it. I like Fraser and I think he’s our best glovesman this season, but that was dreadful and we really got away with one.

Correct, by the rules he made no attempt to play the ball either in the first passage of play (outside the box) or the second (inside) so it should be a red all day long IMO.

Bbc match report also says no yellow given.

I must admit, I do find it a little strange that we don’t often get a percentage of people in hospital who are/aren’t vaccinated. Chris Whitty included it in a brief recently but imo it should be a regular stat.

I had mine yesterday and the nurse who gave me the shot said I didn’t need the 15 minutes and they weren’t recommending it, just said maybe if you’re driving to give it a few minutes before you get behind the wheel.

Anyone normal would just say “dammit, autocorrect” or MLG’s regular go-to when he has made a mistake, “it was a typo”. Not MLG this time. I have my booster booked for 5th Jan, after tonight’s announcement from the fat slob I thought I’d see if I can bring it forward. Spent 25 minutes in a queue on nhs online only to be told there are no appointments available. Quite clear that this is just another example of deflection. Set a target which sounds good but don’t put a plan in place to actually achieve it. Fat cunt.

It’s not having jabs that is any sort of problem. My third is lined up for Jan and I’m trying to get it quicker. Have will be a fact of life. my FFS comment was because of a couple of news comments I read whereby some in France are talking about keeping restrictions in place until jab 4. If the science supports that then that’s what it will be I suppose.

France are already talking about jab 4 ffs.

Have you got a source for this please? Interesting statIstic. I thought Chris Whitty’s slide from Wednesday was quite compelling in showing the rate of hospitalisation for vaccinated/unvaccinated.

Dunno if it’s what you’re after but this was one of the slides given at yesterdays Plan B announcement.

I don’t think we’ll go back to empty stadiums. But, going by tonight’s UK Gov briefing and other statements I’ve heard, I think there’s a possibility that COVID passports could be changed such that they’re only valid if people are triple jabbed (initial double plus the booster). Early talk from Pfizer and BioNTech is that three jabs is effective against neutralising Omicron, two jabs significantly less effective in doing so. Edit: also, at present it’s covid passport or negative LFT. That in itself maintains the opportunity for people who aren’t fully jabbed. But who knows what January and beyond will bring.

This new guidance is very wishy washy and does little as far as I can tell to change much. Work from home, if you can? But not until next week. I kind of thought that was already the guidance. No restrictions (yet) on pubs and restaurants, and unless something changes in the next two weeks its just going to be “crack on” over Xmas. All s a bit pointless to me.
