    Jack Cork

Pretty much season over then, if that's the case. A real shame.
  2. No. It really isn't, and if you truly believe that you're a bit simple. The FA Cup was the only realistic thing we could have won this season. A trip to Wembley in the semis and/or the final was at stake. Neither Sunderland nor Saints prioritised it and both put out sub-strength sides. Just because people have a different opinion to you as to what they would have liked to have seen prioritised, its pretty sad you have to resort to childish accusations of dark and mysterious "agendas". If we had put out a full strength side and lost then, fair enough, we weren't good enough on the day. As it was, we didn't do that, and some feel that we left a bit out. My opinion on MP is that he's a very good manager for us, I hope he stays, but he didn't prioritise the FA Cup for this season. If you think that's 100% wrong then you might want to look deeper in the mirror for who actually knows feck all about football.
  3. Who is saying it was a dead cert?
  4. It's a leap of faith to think that we could have gotten to Wembley had we gotten past Sunderland? Ok then.
  5. 9 points clear of 11th place with 9 games to go. Not been in the bottom half all season. Top work there, Aids.
  6. You just said 8th was your expectation of where we'd finish. Was it your limit too? You expected 8th, but we'd finish no higher than 8th? You said "I don't think it's a huge achievement getting this squad of players 8th." But OK Aids. I went and looked. Right here in the SWF season preview. http://www.saintsweb.co.uk/content.php?456-SaintsWeb-s-2013-14-Season-Preview Now admittedly you and your I'm never wrong opinions didn't make into that collection, but it's just the first review I found. So it would seem the general consensus from that was 8th - 12th. Not exactly your minimum expectation of 8th, really.
  7. Agree with that Doggo. I don't remember too many people at the start of the season saying that 8th was the minimum benchmark. 8th would be an excellent finish, anywhere top ten would be a very good achievement, both from the start of the season and also from now.
  8. If this is anything like the standard of your posts (which is does seem to be) then, quite frankly, good. Whine, whine, whine, just because others have differing opinions. On an internet forum. Where the point is to express your opinion. Not sure what alpine was expecting more from this season, apart from the FA Cup which was IMO an inexcusable display. But top ten is a good, very good showing for a club like us. We're not going to qualify for Champions League. We likely won't qualify for the Europa League either, except with a cup win. I wonder where people genuinely think we can go from here. We're a club that puts a benchmark on finishing 8th, and a supporter base that laps that up, many of whom prioritise that over a cup win.
  9. Probably because we could have been. There's also multiple threads on it because it was the only thing we could likely win this season and people see it as a missed opportunity, for a number of reasons.
  10. No infraction can best the legendary "stamping on people's dreams" handed down by Jimmy D to the Turk. Not so much harsh as utterly sad and desperate, to be fair, but it's top of the pops for M-board fractions IMO.
  11. That would be my fear. Steve raised a good point about David Luker, but he was able to apply customer comments to the management of his own team. Still, I see it as a good thing that club want to show they're listening, so I'm going to choose to view it as a positive step.at the very least it's worth trying.
  12. You only have to look down the road at Micah Hall to see how this type of role just doesn't work, and is a hiding to nothing for the incumbent. saying that I applaud the effort to open a greater dialogue with the fans.
  13. Classic thread. And some people accuse Barry Sanchez and Glasgow of ruining the forum.
  14. Er, Ted. You haven't fixed the drainage. In the lower field.
  15. No need to feel upset. You're just clearly not that intelligent. Sorry if it offends you, but you aren't.
  16. You just seem to make stuff up to argue about, pal. You've done it with CBF, you've done it with me, with Turkish, with others I'm just not sure why. You're clearly an intelligent fella, you just seem to resort to stupidity too often than you should.
  17. There really is a good reason you call him strawlock, isn't there? It's remarkable the amount of sh*t he makes up just to argue against.
  18. I've got a bottle in the fridge and the missus is out #justsaying
  19. Come round here, I'll open a nice bottle of red. Big kisses xx
  20. If you think he's dune, neither do you. dune is far more of a boring c*nt than barry.
  21. I think we could be pals, "trou". We're often on the other side of opinions but that's what makes good buddies, isn't it? I'm far too old, too boring and too tired to have any enemies. I'd far prefer a likeable joust every once in a while respecting the other jouster's opinion. I reckon we could be soul mates in that regard. What do you reckon? Big kiss and then a big f*ck you?! xx
  22. Are you a troll if you're a bit happy clappy and decry and constantly moan about anyone asking negative questions? I'm just asking, but it seems alike. Not that I'm accusing you, of course, trozzers.
  23. Yes, and some not.....
  24. Do they all change 5 players each game too?
