Anyone disagree with the assessment inThe Echo - including the leavers?

I previously had it in my mind that Cork was at Burnley for a lot longer than 11 league games. -

From where are you getting those stats? The site I'm using is incomplete. -

JWP is also under 21 and therefore does not count in the 25-man squad limit rule. -
This. All players will surely have sought extensive legal advice before leaving, as would their signing clubs. Interesting to note that Fleck isn't listed as one of those players, Coventry being the one club who actually agreed a deal with Rangers for the player (no signing fee but an agreement for a share of future transfer revenues).

If we can get most of the City team stoned or leathered right up to our game we might actually have a chance. City's home record last season of 18 wins and 1 draw suggests we might need 12 or 13 players on the pitch to give them a game.

Behave! -
How many slam finals did he lose before he won one?

I still find it quite surprising the club aren't running a membership system. Its free money and a decent way to prioritise match tickets. There is a new points system, so we'll see if that gets used for matchday ticket holders on the database instead. There certainly needs to be some form of prioritisation of tickets, but I'm not entirely sure how there can be before the start of the season.

Hilarious.

There's a post on Ugly Inside that we've bid £3m for K Schmeichal

Cortese could be doing so much better FFS. -
Hammond has been a great servant and could well become a victim of our quick rise through the leagues. There is the risk of by keeping him that we restrict the chances for the youngsters coming through the ranks. That said I still think he could play a role of backup CM, he's a wise old head and does alright when just playing as a sitting midfielder, which we're going to need against the better sides in the division.

Yep exactly. Davis is 27, so pretty much at a peak age for a footballer. Do Rangers fans really expect him to stay with them while they kick around in the 4th tier of Scottish football? While he's getting overtures from Premier League clubs, where he can face up against the likes of Man United, Man City, Chelsea, Arsenal, Liverpool, Spurs etc etc etc on a weekly basis? True delusion if that's what they expect.

Pretty sure when I did it, it was a 10am start. So get a wriggle on and you should be ok!

What are you on about you f*cking loon?
-
Wages?? I thought you learnt your lesson over the Joey Barton debacle.
-
Get to f*ck, £5M?? I hope he sells a lot of QPR shirts for that. He's decent enough but at that age (and for a winger) is on his way down, and will have very little resale value. Wages will be massive too. QPR really do like getting that wage bill to epic proportions.

Nicky C a givva him a message he canna refuse.

I considered that at first; but the development fee would be due to the oldco, who no longer exist. And this is an agreement with Rangers to pay a percentage of any sell on fee, not a transfer fee or development fee. I reckon MLG has it about right.
-
Makes sense.

Not according to this article. http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/18703444 Although I can't work out why there was a fee, even if it is in the guise of a sell-on clause. Maybe just an act of courtesy by Cov?
-
Get used to it for Rangers. Naismith has gone to Everton, they'll very soon lose even more of their players for no fee.
-
What would you consider Matt Jarvis to be?
-
Like you say the proof will come when we see him play. But this is one signing that I'm really happy about, I feel we need a bit of top level experience and quality at CM and CB, and this ticks the box for CM completely. We now have Davis to help along the great potential of Morgan and Jack Cork, looks decent. A similar type signing at CB and it'll really look like taking shape.
-
Davis is for free, shirley? JRod £6M +£1M if we stay up (so I hear), Buttner supposedly £3M.

Its a conspiracy.
