  1. That's definitely my main concern Dune, yes.
  2. Pretty sure it was mentioned that if the system worked and was approved there was the possibility it could be wheeled out across the whole league this season. I'd imagine they'll look to do a trial of it in the lower leagues first though, but its possible we could have it I suppose.
  3. I'm not sure the club have any idea what external marketing is, so I'm not surprised hardly anyone has heard about this.
  4. "Mugabi imperious in oppressing Tractor Boys" for his MOTM display against Ipswich in the cup.
  5. I'd be amazed if he didn't know that he shares the same surname (if not the exact same spelling) as one of the world's most notorious and biggest cvnts.
  6. I've heard he dictates play very well.
  7. That too. I do despair at the comments you get, "we need to be concentrating on more important areas". As if the manager doesn't know that and isn't already budgetting and making moves to do exactly just that.
  8. I thought he played Guly or Chaplow there because de Ridder isn't very good. And I wouldn't read too much into the left back / left mid position just because of the players we have there already. Dickson has already been told he is not in our plans for the season, and there has been speculation on Harding moving away, one rumour was to Sheff Wed. I certainly don't see Harding as being part of any long term Premier League plans. With Shaw most likely at least a season or two away from stepping up we're one short at LB; and if this lad can play somewhere else too then all the better. Wayne Bridge started as a left winger, moved to left back and still played the odd game in his former position (including for the national side more than once).
  9. Fair play to Lowe for that. He had a great record for extracting top prices for players we sold, amongst his other more obvious faults.
  10. Simon Jordan caught out talking b0ll0cks? Blow me down....
  11. Best in class both on and off the pitch
  12. Ashley Cole is 31 now. Shaw is not ready for league football yet but could be in the next 2 or 3 years. By that time Cole will be 33/34 and on the way down.
  13. I can't really work out what message he's trying to get across. Other than that he became disenchanted with football for some unknown reason that isn't ticket price or kit design.
  14. Perhaps this is all a clever marketing ploy to whip up demand......?
  15. Doubt it; the shirt printing they were doing was on launch day and was a separate stand external to the store. Although (The9 is the one to answer this really) maybe you could just take the shirt to another retailer such as Sports Direct?
  16. Such delicious irony. Of course I didn't report it, you tool. Anyway, this is thoroughly tedious. In the first case I wasn't even calling you fat, others were. Which I'm sure was precipitated by the fact that no-one realised your original claim to obesity was actually of a jocular nature and in no way at all related to your actual sized frame. So at least we've cleared that up, I'd have thought you'd see that as a positive. Anyway, I have no desire to carry this on, so I know you love having the last words, you go for it and then we'll both move on.
  17. See the little "advanced search" button at the top right? It's pretty useful for finding things very quickly; try it some time.
  18. Congratulations on your significant weight loss, it sounds like you've done really well. http://www.saintsweb.co.uk/showthread.php?23924-Its-official-Saints-Fans-are-Fat-B-stards&highlight=shirt
  19. Really? You've got to imagine the majority of existing ticket holders would have looked to renew; so that's up to 14,000 season tickets by the start of July. Then however many extra have been sold despite the ticket office shambles to date (which has been overloaded by the sheer level of demand). It'll be interesting to see how the level of demand holds up for the rest of the week.
  20. Bewteen 14K and 15K, according to SFC's latest marketing brochure.
  21. Some estimates going round that we have already sold between 17,000 and 18,000 season tickets so far. So where will we end up? I think the feelgood factor and the return to the Premier League will leave us with a figure of 24,349 season ticket holders. Well up on any level we've had before.
  22. From Dave's wiki page: Interesting.....
  23. As I understand it, yes. I think they'll have to give the customer the option of paying the actual price or cancelling the order. But yes, if a genuine mistake has been made and the price was priced wrongly accidentally, then the seller has no obligation to actually honour that price. It does make it a significant faff for them to sort it out, mind. But then, if they'd have got it right in the first place....
