I don’t mind our defence as it is, I think we lack the shield in front of them without Romeu or Lavia. Hopefully Lavia isntbout too long and AMN can eventually come in and do a job but we do seem weak through the middle. Aribo getting stuck in which is good. Adams and Moi off for me, both have done fuck all so far.

Djenepo has looked OK but the rest haven't been great. KWP, ABK and Armstrong have had moments but we look disjointed. We have the mercurial talents of Mara and Edozie on the bench as well as Aribo so we're not out of it yet but this is a Villa side we should at least be getting a point from. ...mind you I said that about the Wolves game.

When he came on against (I think it was) Leicester he changed the game. He is better than Moi. Poor goal to concede that.

Moi definitely blunts us. He's not strong or quick or creative. Technically ok and passing not terrible but he doesn't do enough. He worked his nuts off against Chelsea but he shouldn't be starting. Stu is much better.

Djenepo having a good game

We're sort of playing ok but we need some shots on target. Martinez has been ill so we need to test him. With a lack of striker options this season we really need to see the AMs step up with goals.

Djenepo got a new contract. Now he needs to step up and earn it. I think we will be tidy, defend well but looking at that attack worries me. Could be a 1-0 either way after seeing that line up.

Win maybe. Lose and she'll be lucky to get a game of Kerplunk out of me. Aa London buildings go, I think a game of hide the Gherkin would be more apt.

If JWP bangs one into the top corner to win the game in the 90th minute I worry we'll end up with a second kid by the end of injury time. 😁 (probably need at least 2 minutes of injury time though.)

Tonight is a rare date night with my missus, daughter is with my parents. She wanted to go to the cinema and have a meal in a restaurant. I got my way... Saints on Sky and a takeaway.

He'll tear up the Championship next season. Seriously he's had injury issues and sometimes it looks as if he panics or his legs act before his brain but he's still learning and has proved this season that hard work and versatility are welcomed in this team. We've really only seen him at left (wing) back this season so it'll be interesting to see him back in AM to see if he can recapture his early performances for us. Mind you AArmstrong is doing well there so.... Hopefully he can put injury issues behind him and flourish.

New 3 year deal for Djenepo

Got a feeling we'll turn up on Friday well up for it. I'm not sure many people realise how good ABK is yet. The only shame is Lavia is out but Diallo has never had a real run of games since he's been here so that's why I've kept him in for now. Big Joe to have a stormer. I think a draw isn't a bad result but I'm actually going to go glass half full... 2-1 Saints. Their defence is getable, we just have to keep their attacking side quiet. In the words of Gary Wackett, "let's fucking kill them!"
