Stoke's passing has been decent and they're winning a lot of balls. Need to keep the fight up.

Save Peretz
-
Mess in defence. We look so panicky

Jeez Peretz

Get in!
-
Could be an end to end sorta game. We need to take our chances. Which has been an issue of late.
-
I guess we'll be hoping Oyekunle, Ehibhatiomhan or Akachucwu can step up to be the next wonderkid then. Though I can see us scrambling round the market for whatever cast offs we can get before that.
-
We have to act in the window by Monday then. No AA, no Archer, we can't rely on Ross the Glassman and youngsters for the rest of the season. Deadline day may be more interesting than expected. Unless we're wrapping AA up in cotton wool until Tuesday. Good to see THB in. Obviously no immediate plans to sell.
-
Probably the strongest team bar squeezing Charles in. Still 4231 too which is positive. No AA though

Horrible feeling it'll be a back 3 today if Scienza is out. Playing for a draw.
-
Typical West Ham. "We'll pay you a pound a week for 200,000 years. It's a good deal, you should take it."
-
The window shuts in February so there's hope yet. Im not sure if I want to follow the Deadline Day on Monday or lie in a darkened room and hide.
-
You and us both Adam.
-
What are Akachukwu and the other youngsters like? If we don't bring anyone in we might be edging closer to using them.
-
You know why I would be happy selling AA? Yes he has scored goals at this level but he's proved he can't do it at the next level. Yes, it could be a mistake losing someone who has, for a season and a half at this level, been our top scorer but I'd rather build for the future and get a team together that can compete in the Prem. Otherwise, besides treading water, there's no point being in this League. We want to get back to the Prem, but more importantly, we want to be able to compete when we get there. The likes of AA aren't part of that. As crap as SR's decisions are, we do know they have the ability to spot a deal with the likes of Scienza and Jander. More of those kinds of decisions (I'm not holding my breath) and we may just be able to build a team that can both get promoted and try and stay there.

I know what SR would choose...

It still feels crazy that as shit as we’ve been at times this season, inconsistent and defensively poor, we’re still only 7 points off the play-offs. We haven’t got it in us to in to do it IMO, but we have just got 4 points from playing 4 at the back (could have been 6 without the Skates handball goal) so there is a small chance but there are a lot of teams above us. If Scienza is out we’ll struggle. If we go to a back 3, we’ll struggle. But a point at Stoke would continue an unbeaten run which might give the lads some confidence.
-
I prefer the latter. The only difference is needing a target man up front and not AA.
-
I missed a lot of the game but I noticed a couple of things, I like the formation, that's 4 points in two games it has got us (would have been 6 but for a handball goal). Keep it up Tonda. Bree back and being incorporated in a season where we've struggled at full back/wing backs is a plus. Keep him I say for the rest of the season. Peretz fills me with more confidence than Baz. We need recruitment. We may not get it this window but will limp around in mid table but in the summer SR need to go big. Finally Skates didn't get to beat us this season which, while we didn't win, is at least something when we haven't been great.
-
Respect the point i guess. Shame we don't have much in attack beyond Scienza. If only there was a transfer window ongoing that we could remedy that.

Just up after Nights. Think I might go back to bed. What was THB doing...
-
Stoke fans want the contract terminated. I'm not sure how it works, but wouldn't a contract have been agreed that a termination would have to be agreed upon by both parties? I can't see Saints wanting to have to pay his wages whilst he's out for the next 6 weeks. I think (and hope) they're stuck with him.

Coming off of Nights for this. Debating on getting home, having 4 hours sleep and watching the game, or getting six hours and not subjecting myself to it. Tricky one!
