I think its a great match up. We had a number of companies in mind, whittled it down to 4 and then they won out. I'm sure they will be paying alot more than aap3 - I agree with mlg about 3-5 mill i would suggest. No they are not a sony, but as above when have we ever had a particularly big name sponsor? Do not get the negativety at all. They are innovative, have a great simple logo/font and are a local saints supporting company. They are going global who want to grow their brand. What's not to like?

Interesting thread Duncan. Thanks for sharing. I like the attitude of the new regime. I think they came in at a good time to maintain and nurture, just as I think cortese did to rebuild. I felt kl would sell up pretty quick, but it seems she has got the bug and we are in safe hands. my one reservation is Ralph is very politician like, polished and trained straight out of a self help book. Kind of saying a lot without saying much at all. Ultimately time will tell and he will be judged on results.

I like us changing it up regularly to keep it fresh. Sick of all red now so would happily ditch that, or at least add black shorts and white socks. In order of general preference in terms of what I would like to see next season: rank zerox stripes sash red with black shorts/white socks all red if had to hedge my bets from the whispers, sounds like an all red kit again next season with yellow and blue away.

Cortese whilst clearly being a bit of a nob, did a great job with the club in the main. Deserved to be significantly rewarded, but that wage is clearly way ott. I imagine he got a nice golden handshake too.
