I dont post that often but I have to say given the amount of vitriolic abuse thrown around by various users onthis site I find this very sad, he was definitely one of the wittiest posters on here.

Top Gear presenters in legal firing line over anti-Mexican comments

Good luck with the Leslie Nielsen apology.... -
Guernsey not Jersey - you don't understand this inter island rivalry!!
-
I read somewhere that of eleven teams which have had points deducted only Leeds have managed to make the playoffs in the same season. Therefore to get to this position, albeit with a very very slim chance of making them is not bad. Perhaps a little more perspective on the behalf of some fans would be welcome?

So you would have changed a winning team and formation just for the sake of going 442? I'm so glad you aren't the manager.

Any boycotters bought a season ticket?
Sarnia Saint replied to lordswoodsaints's topic in The Saints
On the basis that season ticket sales this year are higher than last one can only nassume the answer to be yes -
Stoke - mainly our ex players, same strip, nearly the same initials and no chance of winning anything
-
This would be the Reading fans who have no axe to grind after he left them for West Ham then? If he wants to use us as a stepping stone then fine by me as it will mean he is motivated in getting us back up the leagues otherwise no premiership club will come lokking for him.
-
You have ignored the fact you would then have to buy someone to replace them?? Despite Sky revenues I believe that the published figure of your annual loss was £16.5m in the latest accounts, therefore unless you keep the sugar daddy I would be very worried indeed if I were a Pompey fan

We don't want him here thank you very much!!

Why didn't Crouch save us from administration?
Sarnia Saint replied to Nineteen Canteen's topic in The Saints
You believe Lowe would have given up control, you assume he would have gone to Crouch, you infer Barclays would break client confidentiality to advise LC of the perilous state of the company finances, you suggest LC is maybe making a bid with nothing to support that assertion. On that basis I am not sure any of these questions do require a reply as the foundations of your argument are built on sand. I personally don't think any of them should be involved in the future but I certainly wouldn't expect someone to put £2m into a business which is losing money to see it burned away by two people who had previously made it clear they didn't want him. I do love the way we are so quick to spend other peoples money! - perhaps we should ask Mike Wilde why he put £200k into the Jersey FA and not into Saints? -
Possibly - it should lower the asking price and the facilities are all in place so no major redevelopment costs to worry about meaning there is a lot of potential for possibly comparatively little outlay. Surely a better bet than buying Portsmouth?

If that is addressed to me then no I can't! But as I was at a lunch with Tom Scott two weeks ago I can confirm it isn't him.!
-
No it isnt Tom Scott - fact

If you had to describe this season in one sentence...
Sarnia Saint replied to alpine_saint's topic in The Saints
Never in the field of human conflict have so many been let down by so few -
Lets get the facts straight. Firstly Tom Scott is from Guernsey not Jersey. Second he knows Mike Richards as they were fellow directors in another company and the shares he brought were mainly for pleasure in that they gave him rights to sit in directors boxes etc and get into the more prestigious games - by which I mean Champions league with other clubs. He only held the shares he bought from Mike Richards for a short while and does not own any now. He has suggested that should Saints go into administration, which they now have, that he may look at the position but I personally doubt he will as he is not known for throwing money away. He would not, for sure assist anyone other than Tom Scott and he certainly would not need Rupert.
-
Tom Scot was\is a mate of Mike Richards and threfore he may have done. I am not convinced he was a mate of Rupert Lowe, in fact I very much doubt it.

I can't see Tuesday's fixture either .... and as this will be the only chance I'll get to say it... I am top of the league
