Can believe he might be joining Real, but a 1st team squad place?????? Their attacking midfielders are Bale, Ronaldo and James. Who will he replace? I know it's a squad place rather than starting place.

From the link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B3TBLhTl0eY I guess he has a point and is passionate but a complete two hat.

I thought you meant the Mayflower. I once picked up a mate in the car park at Ringwood at 7.20pm for a 7.45pm kick off, parked up in Grosvenor Sq, and we were in our seats at 7.53pm. League 1 days with less people about.

I'm afraid to say that he was. It was his choice, he jumped at it, when we all knew that he would be a bit part player at best.
-
But they;ve had a new manager and lots of new players and needed time to gel

Being serious, this forum is quite a good way of liaising with supporters, although there is a problem with those that never going to games having undue influence. But really, there is no liaising at the moment.

Really, who cares? The press are infatuated with Man Utd and Liverpool, and then Chelsea/Arsenal/Man City and then to a lesser extent Spurs/Everton even West Ham. So what do people really expect? Either, when we do well, a patronising "they're punching above their weight" "it'l never last" etc or if we are mid-table we are in our natural position, or if we were threatening with relegation it would have been "told you so. you can't sell your players and expect to survive". The table at the end of the season is all that's important. Listening to talkSport just now, Alan Brazil is saying top 3 is set as it is now, and that 4th is between us, Arsenal, Spurs and Liverpool and that we aren't likely to be there. He may be right, he may be wrong, but let's just wait and see how the final positions are. I go to every home game and know more about Saints than most of these pundits who probably only see highlights if that. I don't care what they have to say, as all I am interested in is going to the games and watching the team. What they say has no bearing on how the side performs, and one word from Koeman is worth more than all these pundits put together. B+, A+, C-, D-. So ****ing what? Does this arbitrary marking of players have any relevance to my enjoyment (or not) of following the team, to the players future performances, to the table, to our finishing position? Of course not. I am not sure who he has done this for, as I really can't be bother to listen to someone else's opinion on this first half of the season when I am more than capable of making up my own mind (subjectively), but there are far too many websites that need to fill their pages so fill it with rubbish. It's like TV these days. There are hundreds of channels needing to fill the slots - so they have to resort to showing complete rubbish (or repeats). As I say, who cares?

Is it a serious issue? An inconvenience to be sure but I am sure that some assessment has been done by HSE. Having said that, if there was a stampede I wouldn't particularly want to be on the bridge especially not with my nipper.

6.30?? I know your old man is 79, but I walk with my 74 year old father back to Grosvenor Sq by 5.30

Agree, hence my reference to Chelsea closing Fulham Road. I am sure then, that a part time bridge or some such solution could be used that spills people out onto the road rather than the pavement.
-
Maybe they should look at what Chelsea do. Tube station has a side door that is opened that allows a lot more access. Fulham Road gets closed.

Two gripes....sitting in row JJ it takes 10 minutes (well at least it feels like it) to exit the stadium. God help me if there was a fire. And the bloody foot bridge over the railway line. Combine the two and it can take me 20 minutes extra to get to the station. So I tend to be a bit anal, time how much Extra Time is, and leave with one minute remaining so that I get to the exit just as the final whistle goes. That way the stairs from my seat nor the foot bridge have clogged up. I'm not very good at queuing.

Seems he is out for 6 weeks and going to miss the ACN. Shame for him. https://sg.sports.yahoo.com/news/injured-southampton-striker-mane-miss-africa-cup-nations-201500947--spt.html

I think his signing was important to bring about some PL experience - RK even came out and said as much. As it happens, things have gelled much better than most would have expected, so maybe on hindsight, that wasn't so important. He works hard. Looking at his performances this year, if you only take Leicester, then he has accounted for 8% of our points haul. But...to me, we need to sign another striker as Long isn't good enough.

There was a bloke in China or somewhere in Asia, who did a back flip, broke his back, taken to hospital and died!!
-
Why won't they let him come here? Would that admit that they right royally ****ed up their transfers?
-
Wasn't Davis referred to as a grey player. One of those who stays under the radar. Another one that I really cannot understand why he does as well, is Toby. Watching the recent games, especially with a back 3, he is pivotal. A pivotal spine of Toby, Wanyama and Davis, all who get somewhat over looked (Wanyama get's overlooked because of the infatuation with Morgan).
-
I haven't yet seen him get muscled off the ball once he has it under control. He's like a brick ****house and other people just can't get the ball off of him. He's keeping things simple and usually passes relatively short. He's cut out the pass that was too short and got intercepted, especially the cross field one just in front of the defence, and therefore makes a lot fewer mistakes which we as a team don't get punished for. I wonder whether he has been told that his job is to be the brick ****house and to pass it to someone else who can do the through ball stuff.
-
He does strut around like a peacock these days. Was he always like that, or is it that skin tight Arsenal strip that causes this? As for whether he makes it to the top or not, Wenger said that it was a signing that had plenty of risk attached. He had his best game last season IMO, in the 2-2 at SMS vs Arsenal. I wonder whether he was signed off the back of that 1 performance, or rather whether that 1 performance swayed things. (Also with Lovren at Liverpool, scoring and beating them).

Think Gardos is absolutely fine. No idea why so many (some here, some in the press) put him down.
-
His stats: http://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/pablo-osvaldo/leistungsdaten/spieler/37389 aren't too shoddy.

There's obviously a big difference between RK and MP in that RK has done all bar the WC.
