... but, it's the Sun. Beg can be subjective.

very much this. And can even drop a wee bit more for mother/daughter. Mother/twins and they can be complete dogs.

which paper? What about?

I was given a book once saying the same thing - never really read it. I seem to recall it saying that when on sea trials in Ireland, it hit another ship got damaged, and the Titanic's sister ship the Olympic was substituted. Just google OLympic sinking rather than Titanic and there's lots of conspiracy theory.

When was the last time we had a world class striker, who would be good enough to grace any team in the world (if you know what I mean)? I guess that Lineker might, after all he won the golden boot, but even then......Shearer? Apart from that, we have had good ones, but not world class ones. Give Suarez his due, he can make things out of nothing as well as taking his chances as and when they come.

Problem with the Mail is, when they make up figures, they tend to forget what they have published before, so therefore look complete ****s. Note the author of this piece, but then Ashton is one of the biggest ****s out there in sport journalism. Sort of sums up his approach to his job and the unprofessionalism that he excels in. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-2535123/He-stays-wants-Clause-Lamberts-contract-states-remain-Saint-life.html

God Save the Queen for the Union, and something else for England. I don't see why Wales & Scotland have something different. No idea what N.I. does. IMO you need something stirring and Jerusalem is just fine.

Buys his way into power, well at least that is USA where the last elections had about $6 billion spent. $6bn FFS!!!! And apparently US taxpayers have to stump up $1.4 billion a year to keep Family Obama, well they did in 2012. The Queen costs about £32m while the President of France is over £90m

Riin, In one game in the league last season (and it might have been more than one), including substitutions, we had... Shaw - 18yo Chambers - 19yo Warde-Prowse - 19yo Reed - 18yo Gallagher - 18yo EDIT - actually don't think more than 4 of those ever played in the same game.
-
Batty, that might be so, but the manager can't quite free himself from not picking lots of players from the top 4. It looked like he might, but when it comes to it, he is just like all the managers before him (since PL).
-
Regardless of whether we produce world class players or not, why would the PL will change anything that might harm it's own business for the sake of improving the national team?
-
Why not look at the post before mine, which is discussing the U21 team/situation.
-
Jeff, while you can jog on, I was referring to U21.

MODS - would it be an idea to have a thread for Saints and one for other transfers??? More on Suarez http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-2663432/Barcelona-beat-Real-Madrid-52m-signing-Luis-Suarez-Liverpool-hero-prepares-swap-Premier-League-La-Liga.html When someone said it would be funny to go for €20m, the release clause is €85m for all save Real/Barca when it is €65m (it should also be noted that £ has increased by bout 7% against the Euro, so Liverpool will be getting 7% less).

38 x 90 minute videos = 57 hours. Maybe RK has looked through all/some/most of them now and has made a decision that he wants to keep. Hard to sign players on long contracts if the new man is just going to replace them.
-
To me it all comes down to them thinking that they are God's gift to football because they play in PL. We are told it's the best league in the world etc etc so maybe they believe the hype.
-
Or was it to play Liverpool's 5 and everyone else slot around them?
-
I don't know what it is with England, but we seem to take skilled midfielders from their clubs, throw them together, and create something that you would not choose to play anywhere near the PL. The old one was that you couldn't play Lampard and Gerrard together, but in reality, you can't seemingly play anyone together. To me the midfield acts as a buffer for your defenders and a base for attack - have an ineffective midfield, and you're screwed.
-
Are we really ranked 10th in the world?
-
If Glen Johnson is one of your better players, then you know that you are really in trouble.
-
Baines - I can recall Everton's visit to SMS perfectly well. He was crap then as well.

We're coming home, we're coming home.......
-
Maybe whinging, but I am bored ****less watching this and thinking of going to do some gardening. But....will stay just in case we do score.
-
Has the granny ****ger touched the ball in open play yet?
-
I bet when the midfield get's subbed, we'll get Wilshere coming on.
