  1. Would it be fair to say that we are rather predictable and very boring to watch? I am not enjoying this and find it strange that I am totally devoid of patriotism at the moment. I had a bit vs Italy, but maybe that was because I was half cut.
  2. Townsend is complete and utter shït But... England manager, same old, same old. Starting line up....1 x Man C, 1 x Chelsea, 2 x Man U, 2 x Everton, 5 x Liverpool. So really, unless you are in one of those teams (plus Arsenal), you are unlikely to start.
  3. Alpine, I have to rather agree with you unless they change positions on the pitch and play people in their proper positions.
  4. with a link to pictures.....Dejan's a good looking lad.
  5. The concept of worth is obviously something that they don't quite grasp. How can anyone say how much he is worth as there is no set defined way of doing so? Therefore as he is registered/contracted with us, it is us who decide what value we will accept. As you say, it maybe inconvenient that little old Saints don't roll over and be grateful that Liverpool want to sign half our team, but shït happens. Before the end of the season, Liverpool and Spurs were always the two PL teams that I disliked more than others. Liverpool seem so damned arrogant even while living in the shadow of Man U for the pasty 20 years. There seems to be a thought that they deserve to be at the top. It may well transpire that they will, as the dominating force in the league always seems to change and I can't see Man U being up there for 4 or 5 years. I also took exception to being told that all neutrals wanted Liverpool to win the PL last season - I certainly diidn't and actually wanted Chelsea and then Citeh. Spurs, also seem to think similarly, but with them, it's more personal after having come out of WHL in the 1990s (think 1998 ) after a 1-1 draw and being involved in a totally unprovoked fight. Since the end of the season, my opinion has not changed.
  6. Borini was at Sunderland and scored 7 goals in 32 league games. Sunderland really struggled and it could have ended with them going down. So personally, I am a little more ambitious than having a striker who scores once every 4.5 games and I want more from Saints than to equal Sunderland. He is younger than Pelle that is true.
  7. I love the way clubs like Liverpool think that they can use their cast offs as make weights? If Borini was so good, why isn't he in a Liverpool shirt rather than being farmed out to Sunderland? And if there is a chance that we might sign Pelle, why would we take Borini? If we wanted Borini, then he is the type of player who isn't in such demand that we couldn't just put a bid in without him being part of a make weight deal.
  8. H3BO3??
  9. Half time is when I want it. Or just a quick glance at other scores.
  10. If we spunk £10m on Marshall, then he isn't likely to be back up.
  11. I'm sorry, but I really can't get excited as to what clothes the players wear to do their job. If it's ****, it's **** but so be it.
  12. Missed this: http://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/transfer-news/southampton-eye-david-marshall-transfer-3720620 Are we allowed to like the stories that benefit us and say that the others are complete bull's hit?
  13. Liverpool can jog on.
  14. Maybe they see us akin to social climbing nouveau riche
  15. The club can say that he's done his job which was to over see it while there was so much instability what with not having a manager, but now one is in place, he can move on as the job is done. It might not be true, but who cares.
  16. I think it might be fairly obvious, and from what Guan has said, that the boardroom isn't working quite how it was envisaged. Best thing to do if RK wants to go to hockey is just admit that it didn't work out and just move on. Do any think it a little strange that RK didn't meet with RK when interviewed, appointed or seemingly since?
  17. What's he been up to for the last 8 years?
  18. How about a version of this http://www.sportsdirect.com/warrior-liverpool-home-shirt-2014-2015-377300?colcode=37730008
  19. I just want it to check other scores.
  20. I can get wi-fi that the press use where I am at SMS except I don't have the password!! Apart from that, I don't get any data signal what so ever, and given how much one pays, the least the club could do is provide wi-fi. Done your survey.
  21. Can Spurs really want to sign John O'Shea? http://metro.co.uk/2014/06/18/most-bizarre-transfer-ever-tottenham-make-3million-bid-for-john-oshea-4766675/
  22. Nº 8.
  23. People say that he is way over priced etc etc and that one of the main reasons is because he is English. Is he though? Compared to the £27m they paid for Fellaini......
  24. If he wants to ply his trade with us next season, then I am all for that If he doesn't, so be it. He might have had his head turned, he might have changed, but frankly, if anyone (including Osvaldo) wants to try their best and to help Saints move onwards and upwards, to me they are welcome. We can all take the moral high ground or we can be magnanimous. We can cut our nose off to spite our face, but really, the club comes first. He hasn't lost us any money, he hasn't done anything apart from dream about the bright lights and the greener grass on the other side of the fence. It would be foolish to not look at all your options. He, or his advisers, might have been ill advised at the way they have gone about things, but that's hardly crime of the century. Maybe he is just wanting an increase in his contract. There is a lot of "propaganda" so who knows what's what?
  25. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-2661217/Liverpool-open-talks-Bayern-Munich-16m-Xherdan-Shaqiri-losing-Southamptons-Adam-Lallana.html I know that we aren't supposed to take any notice of this rag.
