  1. If we pick Sherwood after Spurs discard him for our manager, what could that say about our board? Sure you could say Levy was silly to get rid of the mouthy and cocky Mr "I won 59%", but it would make us look small time to pick up the cast offs of the club that has caused all the trouble (or could be seen to have) in the first place.
  2. When does squad arrive on Brazil? Going back to RK's statement - did he say that he would take fan's view on board re manager? If so I think that the general feeling is for Koeman
  3. I know lots of good players can't use both feet, but I hate it when Shaw tries and centres with the outside of his left foot because he really really can't use his right one.
  4. ie the bookies have no idea who it might be
  5. Look at Poyet. He was linked and within a week had been offered (and signed) a new and improved contract.
  6. Increase size and the only way to fill the stadium would be to drop prices. (and if they did ever extend, they would have to put a new bridge over the bloody railway lines. It's ridiculous that it takes so long to get over them).
  7. We're ****. Lucky there aren't any Saints players out there, or are there???
  8. I disagree with you slightly here, mainly with Bale. He is, at least in this country, affiliated more with coming out of Saints academy than being a rough diamond being polished by Spurs. While we might have signed away any sell on clause, I do feel that the benefit that he will bring to the academy/club outweighs the lack of a sell on clause.
  9. LOL. Made me laugh, but then I am a little bit drunk
  10. At least the behind the scenes matchday videos would be more exciting.
  11. £15m or £17m - what's £2m between friends?
  12. Maybe €10m depending on the manager. GRAZIANO PELLÈ http://www.soccernews.nl//news/255401/Koeman_wil_Pell%C3%A8_meenemen_naar_nieuwe_club
  13. Can I ask what's the point of the club (SFC) is and what's the point of taking part in the competition that is the PL? Serious question. My answer to that is basically - not very much.
  14. Whether he said it or not, to me, is irrelevant because by signing that shirt, his actions are speaking louder than words.
  15. I think that they (Paddy Power) close off at 2am. All companies change at different times and doing at 2am, they might pick up the Far East morning trade for a few hours. Paddy are now up and running as of 9.21am
  16. Wasn't he also asking/saying why any manager would come here what with not knowing what players were still going to be here.
  17. In fairness to him, this seems to be OK and common practice at the Mail.
  18. http://www.express.co.uk/sport/football/479891/Manchester-United-lining-up-65m-bid-to-beat-Real-Madrid-to-Luis-Suarez - This would be even funnier....
  19. They close over night.
  20. I see that the article's headline has somewhat changed. For example, the "Reed it and weep Saints fans" is no longer there.
  21. Yes, months and months basically since NC left.
  22. To me it's not the content, but the tedious nature of the headlines (as I said in the OP, I don't read Ashton). It wouldn't happen if NC was here, Saints in meltdown, blah blah blah. I might be reading too much into it, but Ashton comes across as having an agenda. Any journalist that does have an agenda to me is not worthy of his profession. By all means have strong opinions, but there is usually an Editorial section or some such for those. Actually it is probably down to the fact that this is yet another negative Saints article, of which having endured them for months and months, I have got tired of. I know Guan says to ignore Mail/Mirror etc, but......
  23. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-2647480/Rickie-Lambert-Mauricio-Pochettino-gone-Adam-Lallana-Luke-Shaw-next.html I have given up reading what he writes, so he might be accurate, but then again, he might not, but the headline......!!!
  24. Funny how those that were picked for England were happy playing for Saints for the foreseeable future and weren't looking for a move, but post being picked, they all want to leave.
  25. Interesting!! Somehow I can't see Hernandez coming to us. Why he has stayed at United for so long after what, at least in my eyes, he has been treated shabbily is anyone's guess.
