I might not have put it so eloquently but my sentiments lie the same way. There are a lot of very able people in the Labour Party. Unfortunately Brown and his clansmen are not amongst them.

I've always thought it was CGT on the profit on the business part of the property. That's why if you're working from home you shouldn't claim relief for expenses on the business part.
Very true. There is a lot of discussion about the voting system not being representative but on average every 30 or 40 years the minority party gets to have a say.
