I’m looking forward to seeing him play. I was at the game yesterday but I must have missed him.

Leeds showed us last night how having a shot can lead to a deflection and even a goal. No shot, no deflection.

I’ve just seen the ‘highlights’. He comes and tries to catch the ball instead of punching it clear. At the time I thought he was going to get to the ball easily and couldn’t see why he was beaten to it.

Disappointingly poor today.

He didn’t have a shot to save that I can remember (apart from the penalty of course). That first goal was an absolute howler.

If we were mid table, yes. If we are desperate for promotion, no.

Even more worrying that he expects anyone else to believe it.

Djenepo was far more effective.

Win tomorrow and we’re only two points behind them. It shows how damaging that self-inflicted defeat on Tuesday was.

Not really. Rothwell’s chance was clearer. My criticism of him relates to his defensive qualities.

I just think that ‘brilliant’ is too strong a word.

Could Do Better

But not as brilliant as the managers of Leicester, Leeds or Ipswich.

There was one occasion when he was in the correct position but their winger just made a feint and skipped past him into our penalty area as if he wasn’t there.

‘an assist’? Wow I know what I saw on Tuesday and I saw him getting regularly skinned and caught out of position all night long.
