I think that reaction was more about the decision to do something about our non-existent midfield than against Smallbone himself. It took two thirds of the game to get some sort of sensible shape into our team.

Detached from your reality of what happened maybe. Not everything was terrible but not everything was marvellous either. Ive never been Impressed by Smallbone ever since he first came on for us at halftime for his first appearance. He’s too slow, too lightweight and too reactive. I'm not pissed off.
