Indeed. The referee was too embarrassed.
-
Correct decision eventually. Terrible dive by Jota. He takes off before the defender gets there. Edit: and poor refereeing.
-
Agreed. The lack of quality in no way excuses the lack of commitment.
-
Konate substituted now to save him from further sanctions. This multiple substitution rule makes a nonsense of disciplinary cautions
-
That’s unlucky 🥺

It’s a pity he didn’t tell us about this when we paid all that money for him. Remind us how much it was?
-
There was a blatant shove in the back otherwise the Wolves defender would have cleared the ball. It’s rubbish like this that tarnishes the Premier League.

I think that reaction was more about the decision to do something about our non-existent midfield than against Smallbone himself. It took two thirds of the game to get some sort of sensible shape into our team.
-
Detached from your reality of what happened maybe. Not everything was terrible but not everything was marvellous either. Ive never been Impressed by Smallbone ever since he first came on for us at halftime for his first appearance. He’s too slow, too lightweight and too reactive. I'm not pissed off. I’m too old for all that. But I am disappointed and disillusioned. This will be my last season as a season ticket holder. I’ve had one for over 30 years, two actually. When we moved to St. Mary’s I kept both tickets in the central Kingsland through all the thin years but then the club decided that they wanted to sell my seats for far more than they were worth. There’s no point in having a ST for the cup games because they close the Kingsland anyway. I’ve had enough.

Surely he must have seen enough of him in previous appearances to know that he’s not up to the challenge. And if there’s any doubt stick another player alongside him in midfield.
-
Where? Where?
-
They would do. Just look at who they’re playing against.
-
We finished the game yesterday with four full backs.
-
He wasn’t booed, but there was a lot of cheering when he was substituted.
-
It’s not Smallbone’s fault that he’s not very good. The bigger fault is sticking him in the starting line up. What does he have over managers that they keep on picking him?
-
You’re joking, right? Please tell me you’re joking.
-
I’d settle for an indecent one right now.
-
He’s supposed to pick a coherent settled team. Not 5 at the back and a different line up every time. And definitely not Smallbone.
-
It’s not the ‘South Coast Derby’. It’s not the ‘New Forest Derby’ It’s the ‘Donkey Derby’
-
He was poor even then

Premier League sponsorship rules 'void' says tribunal

The game has gone to hell in a handcart. The day that money rules the roost is the day that fair competition died. But we all knew that already.- 1 reply

I doubt that I shall and I don’t really want to.
-
Yeah, that could be a problem.

I won’t even be watching.
