With the view from the Chapel it certainly looks as though Adams handle the third time but the view from behind the goal looks different.

It was only three handballs in one go. The first could be interpreted as too close even though his hand was not really in an unnatural position. The second was after it had bounced off his left arm and maybe it could be described as accidental. I saw the ball jump up off something in the second half just as one of our defenders was about to kick it.

Briefly, but Ian Wright thought it was a mistake and should have been given and that VAR was there to correct such errors. He was muttering on about it for some time.

This is very true. I was pleased to see that couple who used to sit there behind me have now moved across to where I am sat now. They were equally annoyed at the way that they had been treated. Many others have not returned.

The pitch size is 110 x75 yards, ours is 112 x 74. Ah, that would explain it. When I saw a match there in 1971 the was nothing behind the southern goal except a load of allotments and the ball kept getting kicked over the fence into them. I counted more than twenty occasions.
