  1. The outcome wasn’t as important as the way we played and the restoration of confidence and belief.
  2. On this I am in complete agreement with you. Should you be worried? In my view this is the great tragedy of the past few years, the lack of a credible opposition to these out-of-control freaks.
  3. I fancy her in her 70s
  4. Only if it were spelt "Halloweam", surely?
  5. True, but that doesn't make it right. And you only have tyo look at the anti-Corbyn messages on here to see that this election is as much about personalities as it is about parties.
  6. There are often inconsistencies on the M25. Several times I have been coming home at night after 11 o’clock on a virtually empty motorway only to find a sudden isolated gantry showing a 40 mph limit.
  7. Oh yeah. I’d forgotten about him
  8. Have you forgotten Djenepo?
  9. No, and we didn’t turn up on Friday evening either.
  10. Not forgeting that any donation to charity is tax deductible.
  11. Yes, he had lost all sense of discipline. In some ways we would have been better off without him.
  12. Thanks, very interesting and I have just read all of it. There is a link in there to an Al Jazeera video about Boeing and its corporate culture. The Dreamliner unveiling is quite revealing. Apparently the plane they showed was just an empty mock-up with plywood doors and visible gaps. One quote from a former worker: “The Boeing Company is all about the Big Lie”
  13. Yeah, sure, of course we can One freak result doesn’t really affect our chances all that much.
  14. Mané wasn’t in front of him. He sticks his left out to the left and trips Aurier. If the same players had done the same thing in the other penalty area then it would have been a foul to Tottenham. Except that it was at Anfield so it would never have been given.
  15. Never a penalty. Mané hooks his left leg in front of Aurier and trips him. Should have been a free kick the other way.
  16. It’s cruel to mock the afflicted.
  17. More money just means that we buy more sh!t.
  18. I was pleased to see on MOTD that they too thought that the red card was a bit harsh. Nobody in the ground thought it was anything more than a clumsy collision which was not surprising given the conditions, not even the on-field officials. I think that the VAR official should take the conditions into account and the only way to do that is to make them sit outside uncovered in the same wind and rain as the players
  19. Ta. Yes, at 51:54 he throws the ball down the line towards Højbjerg who manages not to run for it and the ball goes back out by the corner flag. The wind was all over the place last night and it’s not the sort of trick that you could do again no matter how many times you tried. I blame Højbjerg if anybody.
  20. (double post)
  21. Well said, it was only a game of football and we only missed out on three points. The Manchester City chant was brilliant but in The Times this morning the writer credited it to the Leicester fans. What a ****.
  22. Eh? Ball not in play means take the throw again. When was this?
  23. Why should those who sat through last night until the end subsidise away fans who were nowhere hear the ground?
  24. He was awful. His mind seemed to be somewhere else. As the senior central defender he should have been organising the back line yet he was the one playing Pérez onside for their sixth. Ambling slowly upfield a couple of yards behind everybody else. Then fo Vardy’s header for number seven he went to the near post instead of tracking his man. Danso stuck to his and you can see that he was in two minds who to cover when the cross came in way over Yoshida’s head.
  25. Just ask them if they were there. We’ve been here before, freak results like this happen occasionally, it’s only a game.
