I was pleased to see on MOTD that they too thought that the red card was a bit harsh. Nobody in the ground thought it was anything more than a clumsy collision which was not surprising given the conditions, not even the on-field officials. I think that the VAR official should take the conditions into account and the only way to do that is to make them sit outside uncovered in the same wind and rain as the players

Ambling slowly upfield a couple of yards behind everybody else. Then fo Vardy’s header for number seven he went to the near post instead of tracking his man. Danso stuck to his and you can see that he was in two minds who to cover when the cross came in way over Yoshida’s head.
