Isn't that all a bit semantic? All I'm concerned about is whether or not my house gets wiped out by a mile-high glacier sometime soon. Brexit or not we can be sure that if there is an ice age soon the Remainers will blame it on Brexit and the Leavers will blame it on the EU.

Er... The Laurentide Ice Sheet that covered Canada and a large part of North America retreated not much more than 10,000 years ago. We are at present in an interglacial period. https://energyeducation.ca/encyclopedia/Glacial_and_interglacial_periods

Didn’t he join around the same time as Pahars? Sometimes a club will sign two countrymen as an aid to settling in.

No.

And three years later our economy is sh1t. If you think we’re doing ok then you don’t realise what we could have had. Cut out the childish, snidish comments and instead start looking at the world around you. That world is much bigger than a tiny corner of Hampshire.

So wages have still not reached the level of ten years ago and what has Germany got to do with us? I don’t know what you thought these figures demonstrated nor what you were trying to prove.

He confuses ‘productivity’ with ‘production’. True, they are both long words and sticking with them to the end requires extreme concentration;)

It was his back that forced him to retire.
-
That depends on the total of ‘don’t knows. If 90% were don’t know then the figures are meaningless. Mind you, they’re meaningless anyway.

Interesting, thanks. Seems a lot of palaver for a minor problem. I see that they use the plane of the goalmouth for their baseline which is less accurate than using the foot of the corner flags.

Call centres. Especially ones that spend the first couple of minutes telling you that you can find all your answers on their website. Don't they realise that if I could find what I wanted there I wouldn't be calling them?

Does that price include his head?

Sorry, you’re right of course. Please see my edit (crossed posts) I copied my list from The Mirror’s website but there was an advert just above the bottom two numbers.

I might try that one day

Goal Line Technology is not 100% accurate but it’s accepted because it’s not easy arguing against a machine.
-
You’re being pendantic, not pedantic
-
In that case I repeat my question. Why can't we have a more definitive view? Yes, I do think that these lines are drawn arbitrarily. I don't trust any technology to get it more accurate than 20 to 30cm at best. There are supposed to be 3D simulations on the way but they're not here yet.
-
Then why can’t we see a shot from a view which is at right angles to the players? The red and blue lines that they showed for Sterling’s armpit didn’t look right to me.

You are welcome to have mine.

Dr. Richard North has probably done more research on leaving the EU than anybody else. I read his blog daily and there is a wealth of information on there from all sides of the argument. I highly recommend it.

I agree, and what was Stephens doing with his Dancing on Ice performance?
