  1. Only that the tickets will be sent to the address of the purchaser. Not much of a check, I agree.
  2. We can but hope. At the moment they're knocking them in up front
  3. Me too. The concern I have is that Liverpool have started the season really well and might actually achieve something this season. I don't expect we'd ever hear the end of it.
  4. No it's not, it makes no difference. As you say, it's out of control. If the rest of the world can come in now as easily as the EU then what difference will it make when the EU become another part of the rest of the world?
  5. Pleas be more specific. There are a lot to choose from.
  6. Yes but I enjoy beating her on every possible opportunity.
  7. Of course it is entirely plausible that he was playing that way with managerial licence. I didn't see Claude hopping up and down and telling him to get back. Nor anyone else for that matter.
  8. .... Tuesday 09:00 it is then
  9. Any use? (I liked it too )
  10. Why not, may I ask? It was a 'domestic away game' and it appears on my purchase history.
  11. This will not happen. There is nothing to stop us doing that at the moment and trading with somebody on the other side of the planet can never be as efficient or convenient as dealing with somebody who is only a few hours away. Putting up barriers can only reduce trade, not increase it. Immigration has been a probelm since the early 1990s and certainly since 2001. This from 2009: http://www.historyextra.com/feature/making-immigration-work-britain-what-can-history-teach-us
  12. I have just realised that I do actually have one away to my credit. I went to the League Cup game at Arsenal two years ago so I shall be hovering over the button at 09:00 Monday morning
  13. We have no control of the government, that much is easy to understand.
  14. Don't be so ridiculous. Nobody else cares or even thinks about us.
  15. Wel nobody has total control of everything. Certainly not the British government operating in Britain.
  16. Control in the sense that we can (now could) prevent the accession of any new member that we didn't like amongst many other things. No, article 50 is just a resignation. A walk away from the decisions and slamming the door behind us. A bit like suicide in terms of vetos.
  17. Yes, a harsh decision and it's difficult to see what the defender should have done to avoid it. Perhaps not flying in with an unnecessary last-ditch sliding block?
  18. Southern Railway could not reasonably be described as a local service. We are on the western edge of their coverage. It is also worth mentioning that their fares can be very reasonable and for those on a limited budget or who are no longer able to drive they do provide an opportunity to attend our games. They are in the middle of a long-term industrial dispute at the moment which makes their operations even more flaky.
  19. Romeu was sold down river by some of our passes to him. I know there are some players who would have coped with it but to give him the ball when he's surrounded by opposition is just asking for trouble.
  20. 'Kamikaze' when it isn't safe?
  21. Virgil did what a captain should. Made a decision and sorted the situation.
  22. I don't care who takes them just as long as they score them.
  23. Way before your time, I'm guessing. 10/10 too although some were not particularly lifelike. Stanley Matthews one was interesting. It was only the profile of his face that gave it to me.
  24. Something had been 'going on' in the away end but the steward in the north car park wouldn't say what. The PA in the Kingsland was crap as usual. Were they speaking in Czech all evening?
  25. I have no idea either except for the yellow assistant behind the goal line who gestured to one of their players by lifting his folded left arm to indicate that there was a gesture towards the ball, or that the arm was not in a natural position. I guess that someone had asked him what it was given for but this does not necessarily mean that the decision had come from him. The ref had given a corner initially. I thought he had a very good game.
