If Liverpool win they go straight into next season's Champions' League without costing anybody else a place. There is a slot reserved for the winners of this season's Europa League no matter which country. If Liverpool lose then they get nothing next season. Nada, nichts, niente, rien, sweet FA, sod all. We were in Kingsland block 32 tonight and couldn't understand a word because of the echoes. Normally we're in block 31 which is only marginally better. All we could do tonight was applaud politely when everybody else did.
