  1. To be honest, I couldn't give a fig for what the owner of West Ham thinks. All that matters to me is what our club does. All the others can go and sulk in a corner.
  2. Forster back, Austin signed, we're starting to get a team put together.
  3. From the Mail this morning: Ward-Prowse is close to a call-up to the senior England team, having captained the Under 21s, and his double — his first in a Southampton shirt — will have been duly noted by manager Roy Hodgson. 4. Long??? Wash your mouth out immediately.
  5. It was in my letter to Santa. Let's wait and see
  6. Ah! I thought he might have had previous.
  7. Totally bizarre. A Trident sub is not suitable for conventional warfare. It's a shame we dumped the Upholders. They might have been effective with a few cruise missiles.
  8. Sorry, I misread you at first. That extra-time header was ridiculously offside. The officials must have fallen asleep after 95 minutes.
  9. Close to a senior England call-up according to the Mail this morning. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-3402634/Southampton-3-0-West-Brom-Set-piece-double-James-Ward-Prowse-inspires-Saints-convincing-home-victory-Baggies.html
  10. But who would you get instead? Money in the bank is not much good when you are short of playing assets.
  11. Yes it was. His one into the Chapel in the second half yesterday was not so pretty. He had a good game yesterday, well worth his place.
  12. Yes, I had one three years ago after my heart problems. I had no reactions or problems with it. I was told that it offered some sort of protection against 19 different variants of the condition. Whilst waiting to see the heart specialist last week I got chatting to an elderly lady who had recovered from pneumonia despite having been injected but she was told that her condition would have been much worse without it. It seems to me to be a simple way to avoid one of the many pitfalls in life.
  13. Surely they should give him two boots?
  14. True, but we did at least have MLT to enlighten any game.
  15. I don't think Rednapp had been relegated before us. I'd like Sunderland to go down but I don't trust BFS to get relegated.
  16. It couldn't have happened to a nicer bloke.
  17. Gardos?
  18. Sadly this is true. I wouldn't want my memories tarnished.
  19. I'm certainly not complaining but from my view it seemed that Targett just swerved into the defender. There was a moment's thought before the whistle. On the whole I thought he had a reasonable game. At least I can look forward to watching MOTD without having to cover my eyes this week.
  20. We would have paid, or agreed to pay, a fee for Caulker for the entire season so we might get a refund or at least not have to pay the one part and we will be saving his wages from now on. I doubt we would have received any direct money but we have freed up some savings.
  21. I see that you're coming round to the view that he offers us something useful. Is your second name Austin and has this change only happened since you signed for us? Welcome to the club
  22. Because he 'only' cost £4m
  23. He's passed the medical so we must be happy with his fitness, I'd have thought.
