  1. Another yellow for Dier should have made it ten. Five cards invokes a nasty letter from the FA. I don't know what they'd get for nine.
  2. Who?
  3. You could see Rose say 'hamstring'. Just what we needed, loads of injuries both physical and mental. Spurs had lost it big time.
  4. Both great players for us but in different ways. I have very happy memories of both.
  5. I wouldn't blame him for that, the ball was deflected up at him. Maybe he could have been facing away from goal a bit more but when the ball's pinging around like that there's not a lot you can do.
  6. Her left wing is better supported than her right.
  7. Are you trying to say that Ayala is inside when the free kick is taken? That is clearly not true.
  8. Holloway's comments are hilarious. They show the freeze-frame at the moment the free kick is taken and he says "but we can also see the linesman so he's not flagging yet so I don't think the offence is here". Er.. Ian, the flag hasn't gone up because the ball hasn't been kicked yet.
  9. Yes he is, look at it again. The Lino shows by his arm waving that the player had come back from an offside position and when he heads the ball becomes involved with play. At the moment the free kick is taken he is offside, end of story.
  10. They've just shown it again. Ayala is offside when the free kick is taken, not at the end of the move. The commentators are only concentrating on the final pass.
  11. Ah good! You're finally coming to some sort of grasp of the situation
  12. Nothing to do with the actual rates at all. In case you (or others) did not know, VAT is not charged on intra-community dealings but is charged on imports from outside. This makes an enormous difference to cash flow and gives us a significant advantage when selling to another EU country as opposed to them buying from within their own. Oor VAT rates are not on the whole set by the EU but by our own skint government.
  13. There is an enormous difference between being in a single market and a free-trade agreement. The way that VAT is handled, for instance.
  14. There are still potential traps at present grounds. One in particular that I know of is the away section at Ipswich. The toilet and food area has only one narrow entrance and no fire exit. How they get a safety licence is beyond me.
  15. Very reasonable. The police were at fault, but it's disappointing that we should need police to control a crowd of people.
  16. There is also the cost/benefit aspect of it. If this amount brings in higher domestic product then it more than offsets its cost.
  17. This seems to pass some people by.
  18. Maybe, but are you prepared to take the risk? To my thinking there are no advantages in leaving and a whole mountain of disadvantages. Seen from a distance Britain leaving the EU is a pretty crazy idea.
  19. Yes, yes, we all knew that. It wasn't just CFCs either. You seem to think that the sceptics' knowledge is pitiful but perhaps they know much more than you think they do.
  20. On the whole I agree with you. There are a lot more factors than CO2 involved.
  21. You need proper advice, but if you have lived in the house as your main residence in the recent past this will help you considerably.
  22. Are you joint tenants or tenants in common?
  23. The money is not spent, it is loaned with interest to be paid.
