Just have, you're right, I'm not a fan. Not one laugh, not one chuckle, not one titter, not even a smile. How is he relevant?
-
Never heard of him. Who he?
-
Might still be possible but you'll have to be quick: http://www.gottabemobile.com/2014/09/17/downgrade-ios-8-to-ios-7/ I never upgraded from IOS6

Er... Not really: http://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sterling_silver
-
Is that because of the poll tax?
-
They may have been sold but couldn't turn up. Or maybe you do in fact stink.

He doesn't get a vote. He said so on the radio (TV?) a week or so ago. I presume because he doesn't live in Scotland.
-
That's a very interesting thought. Have you ever read 'Brave New World' by Aldous Huxley? Incredibly prescient for 1931.
-
Not many against Newcastle, just a few up in the top corner of the Chapel that I could see.

Who's hoarding? The savings ratio has fallen drastically since 1992 and has only risen slightly during the recession, not surprisingly. Anyway, if people don't save the banks don't have the money to lend to businesses and housebuyers.
-
Yes, it may appear a bit esoteric. There are a number of reasons why not all the seats are sold, some of which have been listed above. There comes a point near the date of the match when there are a lot of single seats left. These are difficult to sell. Suppose there are a couple of thousand unsold tickets on match day morning, who is going to travel to the ground in the hope of getting one? This is a problem with all-seater ticket-only games, you can't just cram the last few thousand in at the back.

It all depends where the money comes from. In the case of central banks, BofE etc, they get it by printing money. This just causes inflation which devalues savings. Effectively it's stealing money from people's life-savings in order to pay off national debt, or give to undeserving causes.

Of course, totally agree, it's just that typing long essays on an ipad gets tedious. For 'husband' read 'breadwinner' and 'wife' read full-time child and home carer.
-
As opposed to being given money for doing nowt?
-
It will take him several games to get back to where he was. Let's all hope he can.
-
No no, If you want it you've got to pay for it all by yourself. If you want your fellow workers to pay for your grand schemes of social re-engineering then you need to become a socialist politician, I'm afraid.
-
We're not selling out because it's full. With all-seater ticketed stadiums there will never be queues of people locked outside once the stadium's full. Er... much the same as it does now? To be honest I don't think the people counting the takings care too much about the atmosphere anyway.
-
That's 6% return, not bad these days
-
It's only a few minutes, what's the rush?
-
That's determined by the person or business that's paying for them. £3k per seat is perhaps 5 to 7 years of season ticket price as an illustration. Might even be worth doing to offset windfall profits from unplanned player sales, but I'll leave that to the accountants.
-
So... All your posts are not to be taken seriously because they're ironic/sarcastic, or none of them, or not all of them, or some of them?
-
My feeling is that another 8,000 to 10,000 seats would make business sense if they could be installed at an acceptable price.
-
Team game though, innit.
-
Are you paying for that?
