Likewise. Silly me but I thought we had progressed, I thought we were better than this but apparently not. Underneath the attractive new facade the old Southampton still lurks.
He was there to miss his chance, God alone knows how. Something was wrong with the mindset of him and the whole team today. There was no belief, hunger, desire or conviction.
I shall tell them that I wasted a whole Saturday of my life watching the most abject surrender I have ever witnessed in my team and then spent the rest of the day moaning about it on here.
Maybe it is money, but from this stage on the FA Cup prize & TV money and extra gate receipts start to outweigh the Premier League place money and on this showing you couldn't blame BT if they didn't hand over the TV money for today's showing.
Win this game and all through and including the final is £3.24m, plus TV money. Perhaps we should have offered MM a share of that as a bonus?

Anyway when the ticket is half of it's normal price you can only expect half of the normal side right ??:smug:
Nice try, but somebody explained earlier that the prize money for getting this far made up for the lack of supporters.
If ever there was a moment it do it then I think that MP has to come out and apologise direct to the fans for this result, and in English if he has any political sense at all.
Then somebody should let him know how they feel. If the Europa Cup is to blame then remove the FA Cup final qualification and award an extra league place. Perhaps then we wouldn't be bothered about going for 7th?
No, it's straightforward. If you play every midweek and Saturday for 8 weeks then you will have played 16 games. That's two games a week. All the top clubs do it and so do those in the lower leagues.
