  1. Pubs are too expensive, they have priced themselves out of business, especially food and soft drinks.
  2. I don't think that's in his remit.
  3. I'll settle for clean sheets from here on in.
  4. It's never fair to criticise a player when we don't know what instructions he has received from the manager.
  5. I thought that he would either get his £17m or take possession of the ground?
  6. Well he was caught offside at least five times.
  7. Good for him. I don't think we need him at the moment. Who would you drop for him?
  8. He put in a shift today. Covered the whole pitch. A couple of mistakes and miscontrol but you could say that about most of them.
  9. You could try A2B taxis, they have minibus thingies. 02380223450
  10. No, it doesn't work like that. Also HMRC don't run the nation's budget, uncle George does that as we shall see on March 21st. So long as Vince Cable says it's ok.
  11. But West Ham would have an extra game in hand?
  12. Even Birch is blaming HMRC now: 'If HMRC had the infrastructure in place they would not rack up the arrears, so that is something they must look at.' Yeah, right, blame everybody except yourselves. How about 'If Portsmouth football Club paid its taxes on time like most businesses they would not rack up arrears'.
  13. You left out 'let Chopra get inside him which led to the fantastic save from Kelvin'. We wouldn't have seen that if it weren't for Harding.
  14. He's one of us, just with different views of the same situations.
  15. Saints 3 Forest 2. ?
  16. Before you ask:
  17. That's a very fair summary, Sandwichsaint.
  18. Mmmm... if Wimbledon can move to Milton Keynes, how much more of a stretch is it from Glasgow to Portsmouth? Or maybe somewhere with untapped potential, Celtic Warrington?
  19. West Ham x Reading 31st March is going to be influential.
  20. Mmmm... it's going to be very tight!
  21. That would put us on 83 points, Alps. What do you have for the other teams?
  22. Technically not true, I suspect. If Reading lose all their remaining games and we match their results (apart from beating them) then I doubt that we shall be automatically promoted.
  23. No problems, we've all done it. I guess the excitement is getting to us at this stage of the season.
  24. Very disappointing but any team can fluke a goal at any time and at 1-0 you're always vulnerable. The reason we didn't win last night was our failure to convert any one of several good chances, two for Lallana, two for Guly and Lambert's second. It's a long season and there are still a lot of games to be played. Our rivals are going to have games like ours last night.
