  1. Dunno about peaked. Lost the fucking plot more like.
  2. Yep. They would do to us what Derby did in 2007.
  3. We were very good when Ipswich sat back and invited us on to them, but as soon as they made a triple sub and took control of the midfield, we totally crumbled and there was only ever going to be one winner from there. Don't be taken in by the propaganda football we played in the first 60 mins. We looked good, but we still created precious few clear cut chances from it and ultimately didn't deserve to win.
  4. I was talking about the home game that we won 5-0
  5. Nail on head. It's all very well having unwavering belief in your system, but he is incapable of being flexible and changing it up when it's clearly not working. I like him, and on the occasions this season when it has worked and we have totally dominated teams and won comfortably (Blackburn, Swansea etc..) it looks great. But he's just too one-dimensional, and his stubbornness would see us get ripped to shreds in the PL.
  6. This is just utter bollocks. You're saying no keeper could POSSIBLY have saved any of those goals? Really?
  7. OK now I know you're just trolling. I almost forgot it's 1st April. That was a seriously weak toe poke with no power behind it whatsoever, and Baz got absolutely nowhere near it. That's a bread and butter save to a semi competent keeper. But he's not even that. He's fucking shite. Stop making excuses for him and accept it.
  8. Who is going to defend Baz for that one then? Come on, let's see you.
  9. So predictable.
  10. But in this instance, you can see Baz reacted very late, and had he not done so he probably would have saved it. So again it comes down to his positioning and his reactions, neither of which are very good.
  11. Nowhere near the post either, from a fairly central position. The amount of times we have to make excuses for Baz, like he was unsightly etc... it happens far too often to be down to bad luck. If he concedes so many cos he can't see them then there is something seriously wrong with his positioning.
  12. The first one, no. But the second was easily saveable if he had reacted quicker.
  13. Baz seemed to take an age to react to that.
  14. Morsy seems to be skating on very thin ice. He's given away so many fouls since he got booked.
  15. Who'd have thought a team nicknamed the Tractor Boys would engage in a bit of agricultural football eh?
  16. The ball was just slightly over-hit which allowed the keeper to get out and close down his angle.
  17. Another one bites the dust (or the pay cheque). If we have refused a fee, does that mean it will go to a tribunal?
  18. Enjoyable half, that. Deservedly ahead, could be more, and no surprise at all that we look so much better defensively when Manning isn't playing.
  19. And even then we took a gamble that, luckily, paid off. For one season at least. Realistically, you have to go back to the season before we sold Pelle and Mane for the last time we actually had a decent roster of strikers.
  20. It's like all the other "Death of XXX" threads in recent years. Eventually everyone just ignores the thread title and treats it as the current general UK politics thread. Having said that, SOG's post might have been more appropriate on the Russia thread, but hey ho. If it was any other poster, you and WSS probably wouldn't have even bothered to comment on it. Any excuse to stick the boot in.
  21. That can't be right, surely? The Tories have grown the economy and made us all better off, and I know that's true because Jonathan Gullis said so.
  22. I doubt any of the schools in Stoke will hire him, given his obvious toxicity. I also doubt he will even contest the next election as a Tory.
  23. No worries, he's found a foolproof way of plugging that gap in his finances - he's adding Bible Salesman to his CV: Just imagine being such a fucking idiot as to actually support this shameless grifter.
  24. I'm sure Rishi has only given him this 'accolade' in order to stop him from defecting to Reform as well, but little does he realise that this is comparable to being promoted to assistant chief stoker on the Titanic after the previous holder of the post jumped overboard.
