I completely disagree. We were going backwards under Still and getting steadily worse, not better. That Blackburn game in particular was without doubt the single worst team performance I've ever watched us attempt. Nobody had the slightest fucking clue what they were supposed to be doing that day. I've seen Sunday league teams still pissed from the night before play with better organisation. As poor as we have been recently, we're still nowhere near that level of utter shitness yet. We at least look a little more organised now than then. The problem is we're still coughing up easy chances game after game because of individual errors, and we've forgotten where the net is at the other end. BTW - this is in no way an endorsement of Tonda. I still firmly believe he was a fucking terrible appointment and should never even have been considered, let alone given the job.

1. 100% on Manning, that. Just so casual in the way he knocked it straight back. Quarshie tried desperately to get to it but Manning's pass was straight to McBurnie FFS. 2. Haven't seen another angle to get an idea if Peretz could have done better, but it's all on Downes and Wood who were both marking the same player but both failed to actually challenge for the header. No need to get personal like that. He's just been promoted way beyond his actual ability - which literally everyone could see when he was given the job. He needs to be removed now though. For his own sake as much as for ours.

Hull showed (quite predictably) that you only need to turn up to SMS and be organised defensively to make sure of walking away with points against our weak-minded, insipid bunch of snowflake players. We will always cough up chances out of nothing. Manning doing that spectacularly well today. We will always fail to defend crosses into our box and allow free headers. It's been like this for so long now, but our coaches just don't see it. There's no indication whatsoever of any of our weaknesses being worked on in training. And still we just knock it about sideways and backwards with zero intensity. There is something very, very wrong with the mentality among this squad, and that rests firmly on the management and owners. Tonda is looking more and more lost with every game. Clearly has zero idea how to make positive changes. It's all very well saying we looked better today after reverting to a back 4, but Hull had a lead to defend by then so it was the bare minimum that was required against a team defending deep. Next week at FP is going to get ugly.
