Very impressed with the Palace fans today.

Everton really are crap aren't they. They started brightly with high intensity but didn't create any real chances, and they've just been their usual shit selves ever since. I'd love to see them get relegated. Too good to go down? Bollocks are they.

Burnley v Everton in a few weeks is huge.

Nearly 20 mins in and Newcastle are looking far more likely to score. Everton have barely mounted any kind of attack so far.

They might have some talented individuals, but they haven't managed anything resembling a surprise win all season. Both Burnley and Watford have shown recently that they are capable of winning games they are expected to lose. Everton just don't have that ability. Since FL took over they have got a very laboured FA cup win against Brentford and beaten a very poor Leeds still playing kamikaze football under Bielsa. In every other game they have been utter shit, and I see no sign of that changing anytime soon. Look at their fixtures and ask yourself honestly where are their points going to come from?

If Everton lose tonight they are as good as down IMO. Their remaining fixtures are horrendous, with their next 'winnable' game being Brentford at home on the penultimate day.

These are not the words of a sane, rational man. They are the words of a genocidal psychopath. I can't get my head round how my otherwise intelligent, Ukraine-born, Russian sister in law actually supports this nutter. Needless to say, we're not close.

That was my initial thought too, but I went to see it yesterday with a mate and it's actually really good. Much better than I expected. There's no attempt to re-write history and create a whole new origin story or anything like that. It's just a very good stand-alone story with some excellent performances from the cast. Well worth a watch if you can manage the nearly 3hr runtime (it doesn't feel that long TBF).

I'm hoping to see Broja give us a reaction to being dropped from the starting lineup. A few signs that he had got a bit complacent recently so hopefully this will show him he's not yet undroppable and needs to earn his place.
