Don't do it.

And the total sales can't be right either. We got nearly that much just for Fernandes and Dibling. What about the money we got for Sulemana, Bednarek, Onuachu and SAA?
-
Hypo said "hardly any of them were Ramsdale's fault" and you replied with "here's four which spring to mind", which suggests that you thought all four were his fault. No matter. You're probably right that one or two would have blamed Baz for them all, given how some people immediately blamed him for not saving that FK yesterday. But I don't think it's fair to say most would. And if you think that save against Wrexham, from a scuffed shot with hardly any power behind it, was 'excellent' then you must be easily pleased. Credit where it's due, he did the bare minimum to push it just round the post and that allowed us to go on and win the game. But that's literally the only time I can remember in all his time with us that he's made a match-winning save. And it's a save that any competent keeper at this level should be making, rather than being excellent IMO.

Interesting you think they were all AR's fault. The first one took a deflection and you can see how AR had to readjust having already started going the other way. The second one was a great finish right in the corner, and even the commentator said it gave Ramsdale no chance. I wouldn't have blamed Baz if he had conceded either of those. On the other hand, the header from Wood looked saveable, and the disallowed one was an obvious howler. So yeah, some errors there. But the big difference is that Ramsdale regularly made some excellent saves of the kind that Bazunu just never does.

They've just brought in Matt Targett, so I can't see that happening now.
-
OK so who is it then?

He's level at most in this shot, so wind it back to the point it left Azaz's boot and he must have been onside. Anyway, the point here is that it's a bit unfair to call him an offside liability based on this incident. I think he timed this one just right. An offside liability, to my mind, is someone who carelessly wanders offside on a regular basis, like Sulemana for instance.

That's a bit harsh. The one where he would have been clean through from Azaz's through ball was onside and flagged incorrectly. Not Archer's fault that the Lino got it wrong.
-
In fairness, he picked up an injury towards the end of last season and missed all of pre-season and then the first 3 games. It's no surprise he's looking a little rusty.
-
Don't know anything about him, but it's good that we've got more reinforcements at FB. With Wellington out for a while we need someone who can actually defend at LB, because Manning is a liability.
-
Thought he had a decent debut yesterday. Always looking to play a forward pass or a through ball, and might well have got an assist to put us 2-0 up if not for an incompetent lino. Looking forward to seeing more of him in a stronger midfield once we've finally scrapped the 3 at the back formation.
-
He has a terrible habit of cancelling out those interceptions though, by giving the ball away again incredibly cheaply having won it back.
-
One of those draws was when Doucoure literally punched the ball into the net for a late equaliser (pre-VAR) and not one of the officials spotted it.
-
We don't have any control with him either. His propensity to give the ball away cheaply in dangerous areas is one of the reasons our defence is so frequently on the back foot.
-
Downes doesn't give us any physical presence either, so I'm not sure him dropping out last minute really made much difference.
-
We definitely need another LB though. Manning is such a liability in defence, as demonstrated by Watford's first goal today. Having him on the pitch is like giving the opposition an invitation to attack down our left and get balls into the box.
-
Honestly, despite his limitations, I would promote McCarthy to be first choice. He made 3 or 4 good saves against Norwich in midweek and kept a clean sheet. One of the shots he saved was virtually identical to the second one we conceded against Stoke last week, and he made it look like a routine save.
-
Hmmm. Poor result in the end. Far too many sloppy mistakes in the second half. Should have scored more in the first half when we were well on top. Disappointing that an incorrect offside call robbed us of a golden chance to go 2-0 up. We really need to be ditching this 3 at the back ASAP. We showed in the first half how good we can be when we have some control in midfield. I'm usually one of Baz's biggest critics but he had no chance with that FK, and to suggest otherwise is absurd. The finish for their first goal was hit with power and accuracy, but I can't help but feel that a keeper with better positioning and quicker reactions might have done better with it from such a tight angle.
-
Oh Manning. Can we maybe convert him to an attacker so he doesn't have to do any defending?
-
Clearly got a good eye for a forward pass or a through ball. Looks to be a great addition.

The 'big' Ronaldo was actually how Blackmore described him.
-
Have to say - I like this kit much more than our home kit.

There's less channels (obviously) but it's been near perfect for me so far.
