  1. Spurs and Levy have previous form for this sh!tty tactic - put in a last minute bid for a player right before the end of the window, knowing that it's too late to do a deal - turn the player's head and then come back in the next window to get a deal on the cheap.
  2. I see you're a registered user so can't PM. Give me your email address and I'll send you the contact details so you can meet my friend outside the ground.
  3. Still no update on Sam McQueen then? It's been well over a year now since he did his ACL. I can only assume in this instance that no news is bad news.
  4. Bumping this in case people have missed it. I'm gutted I can't go but I would rather it didn't result in an empty seat, given how small an allocation we got.
  5. That's pretty much word for word what I told my Villa supporting mate when they signed Matt Targett.
  6. There's a spare ticket going. Friend of mine got one for me but I can't make it now. If anyone wants it I can put you in touch with him so you can meet outside the ground.
  7. If the report from Give it to Ron on the KWP thread is accurate then it looks like we'll have the signing completed and announced tomorrow. Probably still be too soon to throw him in against Liverpool though. If it was a home game against a lesser team then it might be OK, but if he gets roasted on his debut for us then it could destroy his confidence completely.
  8. I can't wait to see what Lord Duckhunter has to say about this
  9. You would have lost a tenner
  10. I think the only 'source' for that rumour is someone on here suggesting it could be when someone else questioned why a virus could keep a player out so long. As far as I know it's just speculating on the available evidence.
  11. Indeed, but they ain't coming back to win this one. It's 5-0 now!
  12. No Harry Reed in the matchday squad for Fulham today. Is he injured or just out of favour?
  13. He didn't slip up. He was clearly bundled over by Alli but VAR decided it was perfectly okay
  14. Not a single mention of the VAR controversy surrounding their goal, either in the commentary or the write up. Don't know why I'm surprised really.
  15. The flaw in your argument is that we already know how terrible Danso is at RB. He's played there more than once already and it was pretty obvious he was out of his depth each time.
  16. Screwed over by VAR today. Blatant foul in the buildup to their goal leaving Son a free shot on goal, and missed that blatant handball. I really hope we never have to see Danso at RB again. He unsettled the whole defence. We looked much more organised when he went off, despite other players having to switch to an unnatural position. Redmond had another good game. Hope the Armstrong injury isn't too bad.
  17. Brilliant goal. When he scores them, he does it in style. Now get a late winner please. Last thing we need is a replay.
  18. I'm glad you're not the manager if you think that a 15-minute cameo when we're already losing should determine a player's entire future.
  19. What the hell is our formation now then? Stephens gone to RB, Bertrand to CB and Djenepo to LB?
  20. We would want it to, but would have no complaints if it was ruled out. Son got a free shot on goal because our defender was on the deck, and that was because he was blatantly fouled.
  21. Utter boll*x that. He blatantly bundled him over. How can you review that and decide it wasn't a foul FFS!?
  22. Commentator: "Both sets of fans have their own words for this particular song". No. Just no. Spurs have their own words for it, whereas we sing the original.
  23. Hmmm. Terrible attempt at a tackle from Danso. I'm starting to think we would be better off moving JWP to RB now and getting Romeu on. Danso is a liability.
  24. I'm really liking the new look, in-form Nathan Redmond. Having another good game today and by far our most dangerous attacker.
