We looked a bit nervy after the break and were letting Liverpool have a bit more possession in midfield than in the first half. Gaston didn't look exhausted or injured but I reckon MP brought Davis on to shore things up a little and stop Liverpool from getting a foothold in the game. It worked too - we looked a lot more composed with Davis in the team.

I just hope their cup run will be a distraction for them. If they win their two games in hand our safety cushion is only 1 point.

Great performance all round today - nobody had a bad game. Just what we need in the run-in. Very well-deserved 3 points and a 7-point cushion over the drop zone now. Very happy this evening.

For all our stuttering in recent games, we are now only two points away from 11th!
