Silly free kick to give away from Yoshi
-
Ooooh. that was nicely done.
-
Got to get a goal now while we are on top.
-
That was a lovely ball in from Fonte. More of those please, in these conditions.
-
Maybe he should

What exactly does Ramirex do in training all week to warrant taking the corners/free kicks? He's just awful with them.
-
Good effort from Adam!
-
Another really poor delivery from Gaston.
-
Haha "You're just a fat Rickie Lambert" towards Grant Holt!

As does the BBC... http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/21639524

Four minutes, actually.

Shouldn't think so. It was a clash of heads that forced him off, so unless he suffered a serious concussion he should be fine.

I seem to remember us going away to Norwich towards the end of our first season in L1 when they ran away with it. Everybody expected us to lose against the team that was head and shoulders above the rest of the league at that time, and we took away a very well-deserved 2-0 win. Not saying the same will happen today, but then I didn't expect us to beat Man City either and look what happened there. It's a funny old game. FWIW, I think Norwich will play the ball on the deck and attack us, meaning our pressing game can be a lot more effective than it is against a side content to sit back and defend deep like QPR did. As long as Fox isn't playing I reckon we've got a chance.

I get the argument that Ramirez is still adjusting to life in a new country and PL football in general, and it's clear he does have talent, but I still feel he is lacking in some really basic areas. Things like hitting quality free-kicks into the danger area instead of just wasting them (as he invariably does) have nothing to do with 'adjusting'.

It will be worth every penny. I just bought mine

Wowzer! What can I say? Absolutely superb gig - totally mesmerised from start to finish. I might just have to get tickets for their Jodrell Bank gig later in the year as well now.

Hmm, I'd have to disagree slightly. Our 'plan A' is never going to work against a team that comes to defend in numbers and rely on the possibility of hitting us on the break. Time and time again over the last few years we have proven that we just don't have the capability to break through stubborn defences, and saturday highlighted this perfectly. It wasn't that we didn't do the job of the high pressing well enough, it's more a case that the tactics QPR adopted made it futile however well we did it. The plan A of the high pressing only works against teams that are going to play all out attack against us in the first place. When we come up against teams that we know will not do that, we need to have an alternative tactic or we will come unstuck.

I'm yet to see any evidence of this. Apart from being in the right place at the right time to score today, he didn't show any sign of the kind of creativity that we need from him. And I've had enough of people apologising for him with the tired old "He's young, he's in a new country, he's adapting to the PL". None of that should have any effect on a player's ability to play a decent free kick/corner into the danger area - something that Ramirez seems utterly incapable of. Once again today, it's no coincidence that we start to look better when he isn't on the pitch.

Today's performance reminds me of how Saganowski looked brilliant up until he got a permanent contract then couldn't be bothered to turn up afterwards.
-
The tactic only works if you have quick defenders who can get back to intercept the balls over the top. We don't.

Changing managers during the transfer window was the worst possible action Cortese could have taken. We desperately needed some improvements to the team, and as a result of the managerial nonsense we managed to sign one player who hasn't even featured yet. If we go down (which, I'm sorry to say I'm starting to believe is more likely now for the first time since November) then that will be our undoing.

Only Schneiderlin and Rodriguez did themselves justice today. AS for the rest of the team - utter, utter sh1te. Pathetic, limp, gutless - worst performance I have witnessed in a long, long time. It's all very well playing pretty little triangles of possession, but if you're not actually going to do anything with it then what's the f***ing point!? So angry right now. What makes me more angry is the fact that Redknapp gets to be all f***ing smug about it.

And if you were inside the ground right now, would you be quietly contemplating the fact that you can't win them all, or would you be loudly voicing your opinion?

God this is depressing to watch.
