Cork had a great game at RB against Arsenal the other day, but he's giving Mata far too much time and space on the ball today. -
What with all their financial problems and precarious league position, a good cup run will be good for morale and put some money in the coffers. Oh, hang on....

So President Fernandez has sent an open letter to David Cameron in the form of an advert in the Guardian eh? What on Earth makes her think David Cameron reads the Guardian? -
Indeed, at least JR's shot was on target. I thought the keeper actually made a good save. At first watching it did look like a pretty unforgivable miss from Guly but on repeat showings it did come back to him a little bit fast, although I would still expect a PL player to hit the target with it. I thought he had an OK game yesterday overall, and if he can repeat it in the next 2-3 games then he will go a long way towards silencing his critics (of whom I admit to being one in the recent past), but there is no ignoring the fact that his cross to set up the first goal yesterday was his first assist in over a calendar year which, for an attacking player, is inexcusable.

No, not by a long shot.

Oh and every time one of those long throws came in towards Jones, Kelvin made a complete pigs-ear of it and never once got close to catching one. He really needs replacing as a matter of urgency.

Why is it that whenever an opposing team gets a man sent off we never manage to capitalise? After the red card it was all one-way traffic and we couldn't string 3 passes together anywhere. Really annoyed that we had some excellent chances to put this game beyond reach and fooked it up, before capitulating in a pathetic manner to a team with 10-men and a makeshift back four. Yes I would have been happy with a point before the game, and had it gone differently I'm sure I would still be happy, but to go from being in total control in the first half to hanging on in desperation for a draw at the end is infuriating. Gotta hand it to Jerome for their equaliser though - nobody was stopping that. But he's such a whinger - he was still complaining to the ref after the final whistle, even despite the fact there was more than a slight hint of handball from Crouch to set him up to score.
-
What the fook has happened top the team that were playing in the first half? Since they got the red card we have looked utterly pathetic and it's as if they've got a man advantage.
-
You've got to be f***ing kidding me!
-
FFS we look like the team playing with ten here. Sort it out Saints and hold on!
-
Richardson on fro Puncheon?
-
It's all over. Crouchy coming on. Inevitable he will score.
-
Oh dear. Kelvin was nowhere near that. Lucky escape!
-
Crap. Really should have made it 4-1 then, and go straight up the other end and fook it up to make it 3-2. What a shocking miss from Guly though.
-
I agree, but I'm thinking more long term. Villa have been in freefall lately and I reckon Wigan have a better chance of avoiding the drop than they do come the end of the season.
-
Not really. I'd prefer to see them carry on losing TBH.
-
In.... total.... shock! Wasn't expecting this at all. Fully anticipated getting a battering from Stoke today. Not complaining mind!
-
WTF!? Fantastic! :-)

Arrived today, along with the extra RAM and PSU upgrade I ordered to go with it. Installed and running nicely, with some scope for overclocking as well it seems (although I need to investigate this further before I crank it up and melt the card!). Got Far Cry 3 running at 'ultra' settings perfectly well, but had to trim the AA down a notch to get it running properly smooth. Pretty happy really.

Went for this one in the end. Just ordered it today with my xmas bonus money. Spent hours looking at various options over the last few weeks and this seems to be by far the best I can get for the money.

Agreed. He seemed to take an ice age to decide to dive for it. In the end he would have been much better staying on his feet and letting one of the CBs deal with it. Very poor. -
How much religion gets into your Christmas?

Sorry but faith and rationality are, by definition, mutually exclusive. The whole concept of faith requires the abandonment of reason in favour of belief in that which cannot be evidenced.
